Ok so i admit i didn't know what NOM was until today. Apparently its a group with supporters against gay marriage in the united states. Well, usually the people in this group are of some sort of christian denomination and a sign got made that has a lot of people, me included besides the fact that i myself am gay, pissed off. There is a link to the artical on my profile. Basically the sign was a biblical reference in the old testimate that stated that if a man slept with another man they deserved to die...

I never know that, here in Japan everydoby is welcome.Whether you are gay, lesbian or transgender whatever else you call them. That is sad that they can kill someone happinest and beside whether they like it or not there is always a gay, lesbian and whatever, this a world full of human and full humality to other humans, why not just leave them alone. I have nothing against among gays and lesbian or what else coz I also have friends that are gays and they are more compatible companions than other straight person.

No one has a right to force you to be something else, unless you want to, and that thought isn't a human one, but God's abundant free will's suggestion. Many do crimes in the mask of religion and guess what, they bring an even darker side on that religion. As humans, we ourselves are immersed in sin, and we do not have any right to point out at any another. The old testament does have serious laws and strict rules, but the point here is, those laws were exclusively for the preservance of that race (promised seed), so they would not be contaminated by other religious ways. These were the people chosen by God to fulfill his promise. These were the same people who experienced enormous amounts of miracles and witnessed the deeds of God, for which they needed so much more obedience for their protector. Even now, our creator still deserves respect, but not by force, but by the abundance of their own heart. People who see God's word otherwise, and indulge in acts of violence are not right in any manner. Infact, they hurt the creator themselves. "that you may make sure of the more important things, so that you may be flawless and not be stumbling others up to the day of Christ".

That is very true. I see a lot of people hiding behind a mask of religion. A well known group being the KKK. It's sad to see people with such discriminatory preferences thinking its ok to do such things in the name of their god. All I know is the god they confide in is not the right one =]

Wow, I never knew that. And even though I'm not a huge supporter of it, I've never turned my back on any of my friends or anyone in my family that has turned that way. Also, I don't agree with that severe of a punishment or scrutiny within that individual's lifetime. However, I do not think I would agree with child adoption.

Its sad, people just need to learn to live and let live. It's not like we are trying to hurt anyone, just want to live in peace and enjoy life =/ but obviously not everyone agrees we deserve that right.

Humm... yes, it written in the bible... that's why gays, lesbians transgenders and many other members of the pride community are not being accepted, because it was written in the bible!
I am a believer of the Judaism and yet it seems cruel to me that just because the bible said so, they deserved for life of humiliation, they are people too and they need help to become part of the society.
