Why would you choose using FACEBOOK instead of TWITTER?

I'm a social networking geek and I have multiple accounts out here. It has never been a surprise that most number of people are choosing Facebook over Twitter because of their good services they provide. Facebook and Twitter has already become the major medium of freedom of speech worldwide. But based from the research the I have recently conducted, a particular data shows that Facebook has the most users than Twitter. Now, could you please give me the ultimate reason why most of the people choose Facebook over Twitter?

I preffer TWITTER and I am a big fan of this.
Especially since I started using my iPhone I tweet from every place.
Let me give you an example of theese two:
Lets say you have a 3G contract with your provider.
You go on vacation and you take a freaking awesome photo of something.
You will tweet it instantly dute to the very low bandwidth that Twitter requires.
You will post it to FaceBook once you go home after the vecation due to the high bandwidht this service has.
You MAY sent it to Facebook using e-mail only when you have more than 2GB contract.

Twitter is only for famous people that have many followers. Not everyone can benefit having an account there. Unlike facebook, where you really get to socialize with your friends.
