Hi everyone, Will the Philadelphia Phillies make to the Pennant and win? Will they win the World Series? since they removed the batting coach and the team won last 5 games do they still have a chance to go all the way? If not who do you think will win the World Series? Thanks and have a great day! Sincerely Unique16

Well, they just got Ryan Howard & Chase Utley of the DL which will help provide offensive punch. I'd be concerned about how Lidge will hold up under pressure save situations. Joe Blanton's ERA is a pitifull 5.32. They've got pitching depth for sure though, but they'll miss J.A. Happ.

Well, Philly is behind 3 1/2 games in their division, but I think they can definitely make the playoffs. I don't think they will win the World Series however. I'm a huge Yankee fan, but I also don't think the Yankees will win the World Series. I'll go out on a limb, and say I believe the Texas Rangers will win the whole thing. It wouldn't surprise me at all.

Good prediction, but have you looked at Cliff Lee's numbers since his trade to TX? He's been killing my fantasy team's ERA lately.

I'm just very happy that the Phillies won it all in '08. I really think that the Yankees bought the series last year. They have the deepest pockets in baseball. The Phils have been pretty impressive this year even though there have been so many on the DL for most of the season. If everyone gets healthy in time, I think they have a pretty good shot. The Padres look good right now also.
