Why didn't I get a mylot reward for using the Mylot search engine?

Hi,
I attempted to test this by typing words and topics to search for, in the box next to "Search-explore with Yahoo! Search." But no rewards showed up on my Earnings that day nor on the next day. I tried doing this on two different computers in two different locations. It still didn't work. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

The rewards are random.
They do not appear after every search.

When you receive one a box will appear telling you the amount and it will immediately be added to your earnings in the 'rewards' column.

I have seen you say this before dear Hatley. I cannot understand why this happens to you. Try following your search through, going through the pages that it brings up.
I would love to know that you have received at least one!

yes, it's random. you'll never know when they'll give it to you. it will just pop on the screen saying that you've received a reward and its amount. i usually use mylot's search engine since i work with computer almost 10 hours a day. i used to receive 3 rewards with amounts ranging from 10 to 16 cents, but these past few days, i feel like they are not giving much rewards. i don't know why.

I think many Mylotters are using this search bar these days as many are aware of it.So naturally they can't offer higher rewards for all.The rewards have to be distributed/shared among Mylot users.I think it will be still less in coming days as more people would use it.

I use my computer everyday at work also, to do research. That's why I thought about using mylot's search engine. Yes it does make sense that as more people join mylot and use the search engines that the payouts may go down since it's being distributed among the mylot users.

I do not even know that MyLot will somehow pays you when you use its search engine to search. Is it written anywhere on the FAQ or something? The time when I joined, there was no such things. Is it a new inclusion?
Cheers.

As far as you use the search engine normally, like when you need it, when they give you the reward, or else if the system detects any suspicious activity, then you might get banned from using the search engine, hence endangering your chances to receive the awards. Use it normally, when you use it; like use it instead of using any other search engines, and you will receive the reward. Wish you all the best and keep Happy Mylotting.

THe reward is random and you get paid randomly sometime the reward show up really quick like from 5-10 searches and sometimes it takes 20-25 searches to get the reward for me. I make a few searches everyday and receive a reward everyday. what i do is i make a search and then open one of the searches before making a new search! and make sure you are searching the "web" not "discussions" i think that can also matter!

I had the same question before. I have used the search bar here and tried checking on my earnings. But unfortunately, I did not get any. Well, it was later on that I found out that the earnings are given at random when you use the search bar. Its unlike the earnings given as you post. So there is nothing wrong with what you are doing... Perhaps as you continue later on, you will certainly get your chance. Best of luck to you!

I wouldn't worry to much about not getting any rewards, as I have never received any either, but that is okay, as it wouldn't be much anyway. I know that someday, I might possibly get rewards, but until then, I will use it periodically. It is like the rest said that it is random, as some get it and some don't. It isn't a big deal really, so just hang in there. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
