Hi memnon! yeah, very disgusting actually. People can do anything, even killing someone, just to have money.. Indeed it is true that money can give happiness to some people, yet is the very core of crimes. I just hope these people will realize that money can't buy a life.. I don't think the law of not allowing nonrelatives donor is effective. Because black market are done on the opposite side of the law, meaning, the government doesn't know about this.. No matter how many laws they will impose to stop these people, if they want, they would still continue doing this behind the back of the government.. This transferring of organs might be happening in a private clinic, where the government has no idea.. tssss. I just think so. hehe. :)

Here in India in our very city Bangalore, there was this kidney stealing racket. It hit the headlines, I thing some ten years back, and shocked the sensibilities of all those who had some humane feelings in them. The Doctor who did this operation was sacked, jailed and may be spat on... after that we stopped reading such news, for quite a long time. But then there are stray incidents reported. You see, I am a Hindu who thoroughly believes in the Philosophy of Karma. I even shudder to think of the next lives of the doctor and others involved in the racket. What would they be born as and what would be their future sojourn's on earth like.Karma is inexorable. The only solace you would have when the retribution devolves is that you simply don't remember your past life and keep cursing God or whatever, that He hasn't been fair!I only feel God should give the person so cursing, the realization in a dream or reverie what had given him/her future incarnation a glimpse of what act of his/hers had caused this situation!!!

We might not know, these people befriending us have other plans. and that is to get your kidneys.. I have heard this one story where a guy met a girl in a bar. They have decided to get a room in a hotel, the boy didn't know that the girl put something on his drinks. When he woke up, he was in a bath tub full of ice and a note saying, "call 911. we have taken one of your kidneys.".. too bad this happens. so be careful! be blessed! :)

I think this black marketing isn't under the hospitals of our government. I think they are triggered by the private hospitals.. Have seen a movie that these kind of hospitals pretend to be small clinics, say dental clinic.
