What's wrong with my latop?

Maybe the wifi signal is weak there?? OR the settings in your laptop is not properly done?? Has it happened in the past or it's a new laptop?? Since your friend is able to connect with her psp, so the wifi should not be a problem.. U should check your laptop, i guess..

Restart your Computer (sometime you must Shutdown and turn it on again be cause of some application not woking correctly)and restart the router. If your router is Dlink... you should let it "relax" a few minutes to cool down. After that it will work again :). Good Luck.

Hi angelbelle578, it's really annoying when we couldn't access any wifi service as usual. I do come across such inconvenient situation recently. When I check the network connection. It's said that local connection is accessed only. I know whether my laptop is connected by seeing the sign shown at the right bottom of my pc. I haven't played games with psp before. As what I know the PlayStation Portable is a handheld video game console to use an optical disc format. It's really convenient and enjoyable to use such console for games playing. I could still access connection to read local news as well as yahoo mail but can't access myLot site if the wifi service is not that powerful. I wonder whether it's the similar situation with that of yours and your friend's Have a nice day

Maybe you need to update your router. There can be a number of things wrong with it. You need to be more specific. Maybe you need to simply reset the router which can work or it might be more needed for you to be able to reconnect. I would have said you laptop might have something wrong with the wireless chip but since your friend can't connect with her psp, then it must be your router.
