Which do you prefere and why? What your experiences been with a Windows or a Macintosh computer?
I must say I like Windows much more (sorry Mac poeple). Having grown up with Windows it's what I'm used to. Most of my programming is done on the PC although I've recently started to use the Mac for this purpose as well. PCs are more powerful and flexible whereas with a Mac you have limited software compared with the PC. Although Macs seem to be less prone to viruses.
So what's your favourite? What do you use it for?

I love PCs because I can design my computer to fit all of my needs, and often times I cannot do that with a Mac. Also, if I need to upgrade my computer, it's not that hard or that expensive, but for a Mac, I have to buy a whole new computer if I want an upgrade and pay anywhere from $1000 to $2000 for a new computer.
I have two Dell Studio models. One is a Dell Studio XPS and the other is just a Dell Studio, and I love my computers, they work so well. I use them for just about everything: music, movies, videos, school, and other things.

So far I have only used Windows and not had any experience with a Mac. It is my understanding that Mac has the best operating system, but I chose Windows over Mac to have an operating system that was compatible with the majority of users. Also my needs are modest. I just need something to connect to internet, read my emails, etc. I can understand why someone who is a programmer, graphic artist, etc. would choose a Mac, but for me it would not make sense. Windows has two great advantages, price and software availability.

Apple Macs is not my favorite computer but this what a I love or like most to use and this is the computer what I'm using right now and maybe for the future or as long as I will live life because this is my life now and for beyond. I'm an Apple Mac computer user and my experiences are much, much greater, life is simple and sweet.
As Steve Balmer (CEO of Microsoft Windows) have said, "Windows is 3 years left behind on the technology of Operating Systems. Where as on Apple, Inc. their technologies both on Operating Systems (Mac OS X) and computers (Apple Macs) are 3 years in advance of high quality standards of technologies. Apple, Inc. are always the trendsetters of technologies whether on computers, software applications and other devices or hardware. Apple, Inc.'s budgets their financial and energies on research and development for new and basic technologies, and not just on papers, marketing or propaganda.
This is a myth to be clarified.... Apple Macs has limited software (this is always false accusations). There are what we called equivalent software which has more common sense, simple and yet more power. Apple Macs are much more flexible computer system than other computer out there.

I have used Windows operating system for quite a long time. I don't use Mac computer. But usually it seems that the designers like to use Mac computer. The disadvantage of it is that not so many software or hardware support Mac computer.
I love China

I have been using Windows since I don't know when and except its being the favorite of viruses it's really user friendly than Mac. My brother uses Mac and has been encouraging me to go for the same product as he literally never really had any problem with virus stuff since the day he bought it. Windows is cheaper and flexible.

I prefer using windows but I also have some experience using linux. I've grown up using windows and most programs are more compatible with windows. That means less time trying to search for drivers or softwares that are compatible with them.
Macs are okay, it looks nicer than windows in its default look. I know a friend who wanted to try out mac and ended up regretting buying the thing. He was a gamer and he can't play most of his favourite games on his mac.

My very first PS using Windows 3.1 but now I'm using both Snow Leopard on my MBPro and window 7 on my PC, I think it's up to you and what you use for. For Example:
- On MAC: It's the easiest way to install an application. Just Drag & Drop, some small apps, you can backup it just by drag & drop. Snow Leopard support apps programed for Power PC.
- On Win: You can find apps easier and cheaper (sometime) than Apps's Mac Os. But not smarter than Mac.
BUT I think that is up to your habit, and what you're used to.
