Why don't you use pictures when you post?

I see so many posts made by people but hardly anyone posts a picture. Granted I know I forget to put a picture sometimes but I always try to add a relevant picture to the posts that I create. I also earn extra money so it is worthwhile just to do a quick search for a related picture and post it. Is there any reason that you may not use pictures when you create a post? Other than forgetting that is, because I know that is probably a common problem that most people probably run into and is probably the most logical reason why they do not post a picture.

I'm not sure if I can post pictures with my posts, isn't it like myLot codes when you have to get a 200+ ranking to be able to use? And how exactly do we know it's a copyrighted picture if most of us get pics from the internet anyways.

I just suggest that if you post a picture that you did not take just post the link to it in the description part of the photo upload where it asks info about the picture. That is what I do, just so I am giving credit to where I found it like I would do with any other source.

Oh, so it's okay to post a link? I'm sorry but I'm new to all of this. Should`ve read the guidelines more thoroughly.

All users can add a photo when they start a discussion.
When you reach 500 you can then add them to responses and comments.

Hi there,
I guess some forget and some don't really care about it much, i used to put a relevant picture when i had started to create discussions but now i don't know, i really don't care that much, even though i am aware it adds to the earnings. I'll see what i can do in the future, i would rather like to put up some humorous kind of picture.

That sounds fun, maybe there is a discussion topic for humorous pictures or someone could make them. I know humorous pictures always stirs up a lot of fun comments from other people. I know I love to see crazy or just cool pictures, optical illusions, pictures of crazy art people have done etc. This would stir up many more discussions in my opinion, I think I will go see if there is a topic heading for that somewhere, thanks for your response!

I usually post pictures when initiating a discussion, but you are right on the replies. Unless someone asks for one that is. Before joining myLot I was with a site where you could not post pictures on replies, so perhaps it's also a matter of habit.
So here is a picture of an Italian WWII model that I have built.

Actually I never knew that I can until now... I thought it was limited by my comments' number :X
Except the fact that you are being rewarded for it, it also makes the discussion board much interesting, you know a funny picture can really lit up the conversation or cheer up people to comment;)

All users can post an image when they START their own discussion.
When they reach 500 they can then also add them to responses and comments.
Be careful and read the photo Guidelines to avoid deletion:

hmm, no I think everyone can do it. When I first came on here I did not know you could do it, and I did not even notice the little button to push to add a photo until someone pointed it out to me when I asked how you do it lol. So now I try to add a photo with my discussions.

well the question arises, is it mandatory to add picture? and that too copying from web? i don't think that's a good idea and moreover, does picture makes any difference?
can someone out here justify posting of picture?

There are Guidelines concerning photos.
It is not compulsory but it is interesting if you have photos of your own that fit the topic

I don't do it because I don't know how. Plus, I don't know what copyright issues there are with putting pictures up. Just seems easier to ignore it.

I often forget that I can even add a picture to a disccussion.
When I do remeber soemtimes it's just too much work to find one tah fits well with the disscussion, and save it, then add it to my discussion.
Other times I just cant think of one that would fit well with the discussioin without looking like I was just trying to add a picture for the heck of it or so that I could earn more on MyLot.
That's not the point of this site and whiel I undersatnd sthat soem people love to have pictures with their discussions, I dont find it neccessary to continue responding and I dont think it's worth the hassle in putting one up in my own discussions I started unless it has some great significance to what Im asking,s aying or discussing.

lol those are good reasons for not adding a picture. True, it is not the point of the site, but they apparently encourage it since they pay you extra to put one up, so I try to remember to add one that is relevant. Obviously if I can't find one then I won't but I usually can find something relevant to the topic. Anyway thanks for your response.

Because photos are usually just an afterthought. If my purpose is to post an image, then definitely I won't forget. Of course, if the particular subject can be benefit from a show and tell approach, the idea will somehow come to mind. But under normal circumstances when speed is needed, I will probably just use plain text without images.

I like adding pictures to all my posted discussions, sometimes I notice that although I attempted to it just did not make it and well it is too late to change my posted discussion without duplicating it.
There are also times when a picture just doesn't come to mind or related to my posted discussion either.
Hope this answers why.

I really don't forget posting pictures. The reason why I don't post pictures is because I want to post those I have taken or created myself, aside from movie posters of course. I don't want to just get pictures from the internet so that I would have a picture to post in my discussions. No, I'm not doing this because of copyright. I just want my discussions to be personalized and posting pictures made by me would definitely add a personal touch.
