are you fast in typing letters through keyboard

I learned by typing to people online all the time. After a while you associate words with a certain rhythm on where your fingers move to when you type that word over and over. Like the word "you" type it over and over and soon you won't have to look at the keyboard on where to look and soon words become the letters and you soon know where the approximate place each letter is. After practice you will get it soon enough.Good luck! :)

what i did is i tried to memorize the place of the letters, the i practice my hands,and from day today I'm learning from it. and I'm a little bit faster now that before. JUST PRACTICE.

i type for a living so i am pretty fast at it. there are also typing sites that are free or cost very little that you can go on.

Well,you may try "THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMP OVER THE LAZY DOG",when I first use computer I also tried this 100 times a day.It is very helpful to improve your typing skill.

One practice will help to increase your speed. If you are able to type without looking at the keyboard that is the best. Only practice every day at least for an hour or two. You can use the typing software. That will tell you the accuracy as well as your speed and will help in improving. Best of luck!!!

Also you could get one of them softwares that help you increase speed and learn to type without looking at the computer. I'm very fast at typing and can occasionally type without looking. You should definately practice everyday but don't be disheartened if you don't seem to improve it may take time. Look at ebay or Amazon for some typing practice software they don't cost much.

I can tell that you are indeed telling the truth.No offense meant but my God... you need a help. I am bad in typing letters, too. When I was in college we taught how to type using the assigned fingers per key but I didn't even learn to do that (I wonder why I passed the subject, though.) I am more comfortable using my fingers and eyes at the same time. I think I will not change this "bad" habit of typing since I m so used to it now and that there's no need for me to improve it unless I will decide to get a job as an encoder.:-) You need to practice a lot and everyday until you memorize all the keys by heart. I know you can do it because you have a desire to do it unlike me.:-(

I have always been a fast typist. I hardly ever have to look at my keyboard. Sometimes i think i type too fasrt and then a typo will sneak in. Oops!

Once I was slow in typing letters,someday I help my teacher to type English study materials,in the next two days I typed a lot.And after that I typed faster!

I used to type by looking on the keyboard as well. I used to learn by memorizing some letters place and try to type without looking. If you use a lot of computer, you will see keyboard a lot too, and you will start to know where all the letters place. If you ask me to mention how the letters are arranged, sorry, I can't. I still have no idea how I can type without looking on the keyboard. ^^ I think I am able to do it because I used to it. And I believe, you will use to it as well. Good luck

Well I am pretty fast at typing through the keyboard, but I actually look at the keyboard when typing because I type much faster like that. I don't think that I could learn to type as fast with out looking the keyboard because when I look at the keyboard I can locate the letters much quicker and in turns can type much faster. SO if you want to type fast with out looking at the keyboard then you can always look on the internet where they have typing games and such because those actually do help to improve on your typing skills. Still you are going to have to work hard at it because it's not easiest thing to do. Still it is cool how so many people can type really fast because I used to have a teacher that could type a paragraph in a minute or less really fast typer I was just amazed. Still I have been to lazy to learn to type with out looking at the keyboard I guess for me I just can't do it like that. Still good luck in trying to type fast on the keyboard I know that you will actually get the hang of it and will be typing fast in no type.

no.. i has not fast for typing because i typing with 2 fingers and two hand and i do now to practiced my typing slow in fast typing.

I consider myself a fast typist. I can type probably 45-50 words per minute. Practice makes perfect. Also, try going to websites that offer typing practice.

i can say, i can type in an average speed of 45-50wpm. without looking at the keyboard. but it depends on the keyboard im using.

Seems like you were not really looking on keyboard while typing your own post. Practice makes you perfect. I've already learned how to type fast when I was in high school wherein we already trained during our elementary days. My mother and brother even told me that I am so slow in typing that I can't even learn but they were surprised when I learned how to type fast just because of chatting over the internet especially with other people.

Well I personally think that just by typing a word again and agian or looking while you are typing is not really good especially if you want to become good at it. you should get a typing tutor software. You can get those free of cost on the internet. After you have completed the course on that software you should also practice in other different ways. like reading and then typing. Keeping a book open looking at it and typing without looking at the keyboard or the screen as in tyoing tutor software you would be looking on the screen and if you really want to be good you should practice in different methods.

Hello there! im not that fast in typing as well. During my high school days, we have a typing subject and our teacher teaches us the proper positioning of fingers so all of them will have an assigned letters to press so speed will be attained dramatically when typing. I am not that interested with it before, so my tendency nowadays is to still look for the letters in the keyboard and have a slow typing speed. Good luck!

Don't worry. It is easy to type letter without looking at keyboard. Nothing, just exercise many times. After proficiency, you will find it is so easy. Chatting with people with blind typing. Practice for a period of time, you can success.

Actually I am not that much good in typing letters through keybooard,because i also have to look at he keyboard while typing letters.Me to want to improve in typing skills,but many they are typing without looking keyboard because they are practicing these typing tutor and then they becoming good typer without looking keyboard.

Yes u need to practice daily in computer by downloading typing tutor software in computer. I also used to practice six years ago for a six months. Now i have improved a lot and i can type without seeing keyboard. U can do also type without seeing keyboard, only need to practice every day. ok. Otherwise u can do like. Open MS.Word and start practicing like asdfg by left fingers and ;lkjh. But dont forget your second fingers of both hand use for two alphabets in every line on keyboard. Like f and g & j and h. hope u got my point. Top line u should practice like qwert and by right fingers poiuy. In this r and t & u and y for second finger of both hand. hope u got it.
