Why be a good person if there are a lot of advantages on being bad?

I have seen that too that mostly bad people has all the good stuff they can enjoy and want in life. They love doing bad things and take advantages of everybody around them. They seem to be happy. But in the end of the day they may have a guilt feelings before going to sleep. It's called guilty conscience. I can always be bad but what would I do something that might harm others feelings. Why would i will turn myself in to bad and spend a sleepless nights haunted by every bad things that i done. I could never live my life like that.

i am a good person as well, i have my bad side when i am provoked but i usually stay good because I know being bad has it's karma, usually bad people get sick with cancer or HIV or whatever sickness that makes them realize they have been wrong and cry and repent for the wrongs that they have done.....the dramas of life girls always fall for bad guys : in my own opinion, yes, they do because they think that these types of guys need a good girl with them, it's like balance of nature. bad guys need to be pitied, girls see their bad side then see their soft side, then they think that bad guy has a hope of becoming good and so on... see the pattern? it is like a drama in the movie or something.... do you really think bad people have happiness? i mean, real happiness? i don't think so, i think their happiness are temporary, experiencing real love from people is not what they always get which everyone really wants to have... good people are happy because they know how to be contented with what they have and not all rich people are bad, there are also good ones... if i suffer because i'm good, i do not think of it as a suffering, it is a challenge that needs to be overcome. so, with free will, you can choose to be GOOD or BAD, but you have to take the consequences that comes with your choices

hi why be good when there are advantages to being bad? because I have to look at the me I see in the mirror every day I put on l ipstick and brush my hair. I cannot bear to look at me if I know I have done anything I should not. BE good is because we have consciences and we let them be our guide. those who are bad either have no conscience or they do not listen to it at all.bad people will get it when it comes around and all the bad things they did will come back to bite them hard in the butt. while I having been good do not worry about those things. lol

I'm a little bad and good, everyone is really. But anyway, I love a bad guy. My boyfriend robbed four prisons and went to jail. I wrote him when he was in prison as a penpal and we fell in love and we still love each other now that he is out and is a good guy. He won't be doing anything else bad. I don't find him attractive because of the bad things he has done though, but I do not judge him based on that as he has done his time for it.

It doesn't necessarily mean that being a bad person will make you happy and be able to get all the things you want in life. Maybe for some bad people, at firs they might get the material things they want, but their soul is on fire already, and those material things would be easily gone because those are not permanent. What is most important is what is in our hearts, and that is being good to anyone and to ourselves. I believe in Karma - good and bad karma. If you do good to others then good karma awaits you. But if you are bad, then there will be bad karma to you. So it would be better to be good always. Life is not a matter of material things anyways. Material things will not always make someone happy. I believe that good people are more blessed than those bad ones.

Why would anyone be good despite all the "benefits" of being bad? It all boils down to the character of the person, integrity and upbringing. While bad can give me "benefits", it can't give you the sense of inner peace that being good can provide.

Hello, Zemma.;-) Well, not all bad guys get the most beautiful girls. Bad guys don't have everything. As a matter of fact, what they have are just fleeting, money,girls, love, fame, fortune and all. because they are so bad that they tend not to take care of what they have that eventually they will soon lost all of it. I'd rather be hook to a good guy and I'd rather remain as a good person. You know about karma? I believe it is true. Goodness begets goodness whilst badness begets badness. :-)

Being bad might seem like it it is more fun and has more advantages in life. After a while, the glamour of being bad wears off. Being bad gives no meaning to your life. it only helps you to set bad examples for others who might look up to you. Being good might seem dull and and boring and less exciting. In the end, being good will help you feel better about yourself and help you to shine in all yoyr endeavors.

Being bad also have disadvantages! So it is just your choice. Be good or bad and take the disadvantages and advantages of it. You prefer to be good and I do too. You don't have to be bad to be happy. And you don't have to be good to be sad. I think the best thing to do is be bad sometimes!

Zemma, aren't this bad guys you are talking about have lots of money to buy love, to buy happiness (temporary happiness). Maybe those girls after only for their money. You have said these girls admit, it is impossible for them to resist bad guys. Did you ask them why? Why they can't resist? I think you will find your answer, if you ask this girls again.

This is life, unfair sometimes. Usually bad people are very bold, and therefore they get all they want, because they know what they want and they are determined. They are bad to obtain what they want, or sometimes this is their nature, but they almost always obtain the desired thing. The girls often feel intimidated by the bad boys, and this makes them intrigued by them, and that`s why they cannot resist them. We, the good persons we always get nothing, because the bad persons take all.
