Scientists are in constant look for the God particle. The ultimate particle that will reveal the secret what the universe is made of
Billion dollar equipment has been used and more will come to satisfy men's thirst to be like God. Is this reasonable?
Spending for things that are not seen instead of using the money to protect the wildlifes, to treat the polluted waters of the world, to erradicate famine. I am being idealistic?
Hope not....

Hi WATARIKENJI, Whether you are being idealistic or not, I agree with you. It isn't the only thing that money is being wasted on either, yet we are too blind to see. So many people die from hunger each year, millions more have no clean drinking water and we can go on and on yet we cannot get out priorities straight. Thanks for bring this to our attention. Blessings.

We are unconsciously seeing "God Particle" everywhere. Why should man try to look for it somewhere? God is all in all. In you in me, in plants, in water, in fire, in everything. This whole universe in controlled by cosmic energy which is our vital life force. It may be difficult or may take time before man builds a proper equipment to measure or 'see' this energy. However, this energy is at his disposal, he only needs to know how to accustom himself and be in harmony with it and enjoy its benefits that cannot be expressed in words nor measured by any gadget!

We need to have a holistic approach when it comes to praising or deploring science. God has given mankind a freehand and expects that the talents given be used. Ordinary human beings will only look at the research that is being done in a shallow way.
It is the individual that is responsible for the state of affairs in the world today and it is the individual alone can redress it and not science.

I believe that finding the "god" particle will make a huge advancement on the humanity, yet I see no good reason to find it... maybe we are not meant to know it yet? how the scientists hope to jump into the next level of evolution with finish this level first.
Yes, I mean to all our problems that you just pointed and many more that need to be fixed... the more we advance in our technology the more we are ruining our earth, poisoning our own water, drying up our own farmlands and killing our home.
You are defenetly not being idealistic, just logic... unlike our politicians who seems to fail when it comes to logic.

You are talking about the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) or Atom Smasher right? Yeah I think they are making a big shot out of it. But I don't think they are just looking for the 'God Particle'. 'IF' they can perfect it we can have an almost free source of energy in the future, with that we can protect the Earth much easier than now. IF!
