You are right, the terracotta warriors looks different from one another. I have seen this personally, although in terms of size, archeologists found out that its a bit bigger than the actual size by 35-40% average.

i have seen the terra cotta warriors on display when i went to china. you really can't see them up close since they're enclosed in glass and you can't get very near them. dim lighting was also used to retain the actual colors of the warriors. just like when photos are exposed to bright light, they fade fast. the same explanation was given to us by our guide. sorry, no picture taking was allowed inside the museum.

Hi Watarikenji I saw a video on them and they do look different. I too
would like to be able to see them face to face. The video was interesting
to me as I had read a long article with a lot of pictures about it and it was really so fascinating to me.but it takes money to travel long distances like from the Us to China.,I am a senior citizen with time but no
money really outside my social security andssi checks and most of that is taken up by rent and board. but I do watch videos and read and read about different countries.

I was able to see the Great Wall the last time I took a trip to China, I really like to visit the Terra Cotta Warriors also in Xian but there's no more extra time and it's quite far from Beijing. That's one site that I would try to see if I have the chance to travel to China again. I've only seen them in documentaries and read them from books. It's really so amazing that the China can build something like that and there's a whole lot of them. :)
