an egg.... I know it sounds weird... but When you make meatloaf you put in an egg and some bread crumbs to keep it together, I usually get all the ground beef throw and egg in it and then make the patties, you never taste the egg, it just helps bind the meat so it doesnt crumble apart as easily. =)

,I add different seasonings to make different types of burger.
Lamb ones are lovely with cumin and mint in, and I like to make chilli burgers with chopped chillies and some kidney beans in.
But for my regular burgers I just add minced onion and garlic, salt, pepper annd Worcestershire Sauce

That sounds good, I love my off the grill but I will settle for a good old fashion burger anytime.

When I make hamburgers, I don't add anything to the meat at all, but I do season the patties as I'm putting them into the pan. I use the basics - salt, pepper and Adobo seasoning (which is more of a garlic salt with other mild seasonings in it). I try not to work the meat too much because then it gets pasty and tough. When I flip the burger to cook the other side, I then add the cheese (to mine) for it to melt as the burger is finishing.

I always put in ranch dressing and make ranch burgers. I have also made hamburgers using french onion soup. I also use bread crumbs. I love making hamburgers. I will have to try A-1 sauce. I also put chili on top of my burgers.
