I think for most of us we have a dream job that will surely pay us enough to make our savings worthwhile. This is what we've always wanted as money earners we strive hard to get the best job that will surely pay our efforts. In doing this, we are looking forward to get this dream job outside our native land. We look beyond the vast opportunity of what we can achieve if we go abroad. Let me get your point here, do you agree?

I believe going outside and working is the best decision. In this world, money and job is the most necessity that everyone wants to achieve. We learn a lot,get ourself very much exposed and see whats going on the other part of the world if we go outside and work. Many people go outside to work to earn more money ,because they are not satisfied what they get in their native place.Second thing is, they get exposed and they learn a lot and get good experience working to their job. Here we achieve lots of respect from people, lots of love, get lots of good compliments. So,going aboard and working is a very wise decision.

It depends very much on the circumstances, I think, like on if you have a family or not, and other similar things. So I can't give a general answer when it comes to this, I am afraid.

Thanks for the comment and yes, not everyone can really tell much of this. It may somehow depend on one's current situation may it be more on work satisfaction or finances.

If you really cant find a decent job in your country, I think it is totally okay to find one in another country. But if the reason to go to another country is to earn more than what you need, I think it may not be a wise decision especially when you would have to leave your family and growing kids behind.

Before considering of working abroad, learn about the spending, rents and necessary stuff cost over there. Then, get to know about the social status there and also try to avoid something that the people don't like you to do there. It's all based on how much you will earn and spend there and how much you able to save soon. If you can save a lot from working abroad at the place you designated, then it's worth to work there. If not, try other place. For me, do some researches first about the place you want to apply to work at.

Hi,
Working abroad is a good opportunity for you to explore the world.
In abroad, you have to be independent and everything is new to you,
you need time to adapt to the environment and also the people there.
Like me, after graduating from high school, I went to Singapore for my study.
A new country for me and it was my first time there.Bit nervous when I first
arrived there.Lucky I have my brother with me,he accompany me for about one month, then only he went back to my hometown again.
I also have some friends from the same hometown came to Singapore for further
study,so at least I am not that bored ,but we did not stay together.
I was trying to learn new things there, being independent and have to make my own
decision all the time.
I am glad that I adapted there well and I am quite familiar with the transportation
mode and some of the places in Singapore.
After graduating from my University, I looked for a job and managed to get my
first job,so it means I will settle down in Singapore for a period of time.
Working in singapore is stressful, but the pay is definitely not bad and I got to
learn some new experiences throughout my job there.
I was working there for about 6 years, before get married and settled down back in
Malaysia.
I was away from my hometown for more than 15 years, all the while I was abroad and
I definitely have get used to my current life.
Working abroad might be a wise decision to earn more money if you are still young.
Explore the world whereever you can and learn more experiences from there.
You will have the chance to see more things out there and get to know more
people.Never look backward and always walk forward to achieve your goal of life.
Good luck!!

It depends on the general situation. If you are with a family of your own and are not earning enough to ensure a good future esp. for your kids, then going overseas to work would be the only option you have. However, if you have a potentially good paying job in your own country or say, some monies to put up your own business, then I think going abroad and staying away from your family is something that you need to reconsider. However, if you decide to grab the opportunity offered to you abroad, make sure... before you leave, you and your partner already have a solid plan on how to really SAVE your future income or...REGRET. Some people tend to forget their good plans sometimes- I hope yours would be a perfect one- considering the "quality times with your family" that has to be sacrificed for this dream of yours.

I think one of the major reason why most people go abroad to work is the lack of opportunity in their country. It doesn't necessarily mean that the work abroad is better paying. Personally, I will consider going abroad if the pay is way better and the job is what I'm looking for.

nowadays maybe yes,if we want to earn more,of course that is our purpose of working abroad, but you have to consider and choose wisely. because there are a lot of workers now abroad, being abuse and some put in jail without committing any sins.it's better if you have relatives also working at the place you choose.

I agree with what you stated above, it is indeed our dream to be successful, and sometimes we will stop at nothing to do so, i think that there are many reasons why we look for jobs abroad, it can because of the currency in our country, for example: the dollar is weaker than the Euro, so if i am in US, i will probably want to work in Europe because technically i would get more money.
Another reason is that in certain countries some jobs are highly appreciated, take for instance if i want to be a movie director in my country it is really hard and there is just no market for it, but if i move to Hollywood, i am more likely to get a job.

well, i should say NO to this idea.
actually there are many factors involved behind this NO. first of all what i have seen from many examples which i have come across, once you leave your native place for more pay, savings, bla bla, you do get all those things, but one day, when you have to be back to your country (and one has to, trust me) you are sort of unfit back in your society. Money and job is not the only thing in world. To me the most important is the people around you, your parents, your family, obviously, you cannot take all of them with you. Is there a point in leaving your parents at the cost of more $$$$$? is it wise to leave those parents, in some cases alone, who have given all their life to raise you? i cannot even think about leaving my parents in their old age, for the hunt of money etc. I totally disagree with chiplex, sorry dude, money and job are not the most important things in life, can money and good job can buy you love, joys of being in family and parents love? Nah my friend, never. I strongly believe that its your right to keep trying for the best but, not at the cost of loosing something which you might regret in future!!!!

Hi meissen!
If staying in your country would mean that you would have to be without a job for a long time, then I think it's always wise to leave and look for a job abroad. But working abroad needs lots of physical and mental preparation because the social and physical conditions change abruptly to one you may not be accustomed to.

If you are single and the opportunity or working condition is great, then it is something worth trying. It is even better if you have fellow countrymen working in the same area where you will be working. At least, you won't be completely alone going to a foreign land. And there is lesser risk of being exploited.
In all these, it is best that you don't go abroad as a desperate attempt to escape your present condition. You need to be able to make decisions that are free from fear. Since going abroad is a major decision, you need to be thinking straight and clear.
