Iphone 2G 3G 3Gs 4

Go for 3GS or wait for the updated 4 version. iPhone 4 has many defects and there was a rumour that apple may pull it back from the market. So just wait and watch. :)

If you prefer to get and iphone then you should stick to the 3Gs, but i bought the latest ipod touch along with a new decent enough phone and its great(ipod touch), it has so many different application and loads of them are free.

Hi there.. If you can afford any of the things you mentioned, then I highly suggest that you get an iPhone. Get the latest one. The latest model has the latest O.S and improved features so its better to purchase the Iphone 4 considering that it has better features such as higher camera resolution, video call capabilities, etc. Here in the Philippines, the Iphone 4 is not yet available. The Iphone 3g cost about Php 35,000. Iphone is way better than any other phones especially in terms of the thousands of apps available. But if you're tight on budget, just settle for an Ipod touch because you can still have thousands of apps available similar to the Iphone. The difference is the Iphone's phone capabilities and camera as well. The iPod touch is just an ipod. plays music, videos, audio, games.. but certainly can't call or text.

I would recommend getting the iPhone 3gs, due to the fact that the iPhone 4 has quite a few bugs still needing to be fixed. It is also cheaper now, any can still use plenty of features that are you need, or just wait for the iPhone 4 to be fixed completely.
