In the Dems new and improved financial reform legislation, the SEC or Securities Exchange Commission will no longer have to comply with the Freedom of Information Act.
Congress will be able to obtain the information but not us "little people".
This example of the "transparency" our President touts comes after the SEC paid out $755,000 to Pequot Asset Management

This just gets better and better! what do you think?

Wow. This is unbelievable. Elitist alert! We don't have to know what's going on, just trust them! As if more regulation and bureaucracy wasn't enough, let's hide what we're doing. Great job Dems.
"Obama specifically said it would 'increase transparency in financial dealings.'"
-More disconnect between Obama's words and the actions of Washington...and he can't blame it on Repubs this time. I really don't understand how people can continue to idolize President Obama and support the Dem. party at this point. Is it a good thing that we don't know what the government is doing until after it's done?

Just another way to cut the "average joe" out of the process. Knowledge is power...so take away our way to get knowledge...they take away our power.
I want to see some justification from ANY member of congress that voted for this bill...why shouldn't we have a right to know? What are they hiding?
So much for transparency. Obama and this congress are proving to be no better than Bush.
