Thanks for your post. I thought Christian believe that they will be raised in transformed body later, not just in non-physical soul. Moreover, I heard someone says that the word "resurrection" always means a physical body coming back to live. To imply "resurrection" as non-physical body is a contradiction in term; it's like saying " married bachelor".

Hmm yeah youre right about the word resurrection. But since the bible is re phrased many many many many times. It was said that he ascended some say he resurrected. Well as long as we christians believe, it does not matter.
To only think about Jesus dying without any sin, just to save his peoples soul, is enough for me to have faith in him.

I am happy you agree with me wrt the meaning of the word resurrection. I think what Bible means is that Jesus was first resurrected, and then he ascended to heaven with that resurrected body. And Bible goes on to teach that those who are in Christ will also be raised like Jesus was raised i.e resurrected. Good day!

headhunter525,
I have to say that I am also another Christian who believed that Christ actually resurrected especially when the accounts have been recorded and interpreted consistently in the New Testament.
I can understand that there are many conspiracy theories floating around where some can be so preposterous that the Jewish disciples actually collaborated with the Romans to remove the body from the grave to make the resurrection prophecy happen.
Considering the fact the majority of Jews and the authoritative pharisees going against Jesus Christ since the beginning. During the trial, they actually opt for the release of a murderer than the Son of God and paying the Romans for it too - just does not look like Jesus could actually be carried out of the grave.
The whole account has been nothing but consistent with every disciple of Christ actually having the same account throughout. Oh, let's not forget that it was very oppressive times when these accounts were actually written - which could cost them their lives if they were found to be in possession. It would be lunacy for them to do it, but if they were to be lunatic writings then wouldn't it perish than to stay to this day?
I really recommend the book "Who Moved The Stone" by Frank Morison, who wrote a very comprehensive account to prove that the resurrection was a conspiracy. The most comprehensive and objective research account and a sure eye opener for many here.
Take care.

The fourth Gospel which is recognised by Christian as canonical was written in the 90s. The other three Matthew, Mark and Luke were written earlier. But I have not read anyone who said that the four Gospel were written after first century. But other Gospels which did not find place in the canonicals were all written in the second century.

We have the evidence in the bible that it really happened in the past. We cant question the bible can we because its an account about God. I think that's the same reason why God provided another testament about Jesus Christ because He knows that time will come that people will question his existence.

May be honest question because one is not sure or one wants further clarity is okay. I think Bible considers it as vice which are hypocritical in nature. For example, knowing that something is true yet rejecting it or knowing that some behavior is right yet chose to do something else etc. I think in the Bible harsh words of Jesus was not for those who question because they wanted to know, but for the hypocrites! Don't you think so?
