Do you think David Cameron was right to liken Gaza to a concentration camp?

I'm sure that some might think the wording flawed in light of it's impression on the Israeli psyche- but the use of camps was a major strategy of the Boer war in an effort to isolate Boer fighters from community support.
With BP and Meghahi fuelling anti British sentiment in the US he had very little to lose by saying this: although the gulf disaster had nothing to do with either this or the Brown administration, BP's potential link to Meghahi has directed most of the hostility away from him.
Since the UK has few political friends in Israel, he might just have made the best of a bad situation.

Hi Memnon, On this one I haven't a clue as do not know too much about this situation but this discussion was looking lonely with no responses so thought I would come and say hi :) Although I would say even our friends worldwide don't appear to be that friendly at present. Huggles. Ellie :D

Thanks for stopping by to have a look. Perhaps like DC I am similarly alone in supporting his view. I happen to believe in the man.
I used to be a member of Toluna, where being centre right was a bit of a sin, but I managed to carve a little respect there for my view. I wish that we as a nation thought a little about politics than simply 'my mum/ dad voted Tory/Labour so I will.'
Which reminds me, your lovely daughter has(?) a job, but has she made her direction yet?

I belong to Toluna but only to get points for surveys nothing more didn't even realise they had a discussion section. My daughter is enjoying the wind down right now from the studying, the holiday and now the anticlimax of it all. I haven't spoken to her for a couple of days but I am sure she is beginning to search right now but nothing as yet. Huggles. Ellie :D
