my picks will be: - Company of Heroes - Command and Conquer - Star Craft - Warhammer Dawn of War - War Craft 3 - Age of Empires - Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth (these are the RTS that i loved)

Depends on what era you are after. For futurist RTS, and my all time favourite, Dawn of war is pretty awesome For swords and axes style fighting, i like the age of empire games
