Bedbug Invasion? Ruuuunnn!!!!!

There is a new invasion in New York.
the BEDBUG invasion. New Yorkers are in for a tough fight. Last year, one out of 15 New Yorker battle it out with the tough bedbugs.
Bedbugs are like Special Forces. They are stealthy, and can live without eating for a year.
Mayor Bloomberg said that they will battle these elite forces with half a million fund.
Ouch! Ouch!

In my childhood I experienced Bedbug menace but it is now completely eradicated in Tamilnadu in India.We have only mosquito menace which is yet to be eradicated.

Mosquitoes are deadly too
Carrying viruses. Hope you will eradicate em too.

We are so far not affected by the bed bugs.But mosquito menace is there.One has to be careful of keeping the surrounding free of water logging as this is the place where they breed.I think the New Yorkers will have a tough time.I hope the measures taken by the mayor reduce the bed bugs.

Ah the plagues of nature. I live in New York and luckily I have not had the displeasure of ever seeing a bedbug. An aquaintence of mine was bitten a couple of times a couple of months ago and I don't know what was worse, the bites or the extermination since he had a terrible infestation and had to throw away most of his personal belongings. After that i got online to learn about bedbugs to see if I had any at home. Luckily I didn't find an traces and am now prepared to identify the signs.
