Have you seen or heard about this ionic toothbrush that just uses water and no toothpaste? What do you think, do you think it would be worth $14 just to try it? I think if its claims are true then it would at least be worth the money to add it to your tooth care routine. I would probably use it before or after I use my toothbrush with toothpaste. The site claims that after a certain amount of use your mouth will be free of germs that cause gum disease. Would you consider buying this?

Sounds interesting.Tooth brush which doesn't require paste .But one has to spend 14$.Will it save on tooth paste in the long run or will it just conk out after a few months forcing us to resort to the old method? The reason i'm saying is one months supply of tooth paste and brush hardly costs 2$.What i'm wondering is in the long run will it be cost effective?

True, it does not say if the effect lasts only a certain time and undoubtedly you will want to replace your toothbrush so it would be $14 every time you need a new one instead of the $4-6 for toothpaste and new brush. I think they are saying the benefit is that there will be ZERO anaerobic germs in your mouth to cause gum disease, but I supposed if you brush regularly like you are supposed to then you won't get gum disease and the amount of anaerobic germs in your mouth will stay low enough that you won't get gum disease.
Thanks for that interesting point, I think maybe I won't buy it since I have no lab of my own to test how many germs are or are not in my mouth. Its not like it is a whitening toothbrush or something where I could see visual results.

Oh,it's really exciting!If I were you ,hmmm,$14 a toothbrush, I will try it.
Common toothbrush needs toothpaste, but if you buy the one needn't toothpaste, you can save the money to buy toothpaste.
You can have a try!But I haven't seen such a toothbrush, and I was wondering where is the site?

lol yes not having to buy toothpaste would be a cost that could be deleted from the list. I cannot remember where I saw the original website but if you search for "ionic toothbrush" some results come up. They even have some on Ebay.

This product is definately very new to me as i haven't heard of any product of this before. However if what the company claim was true, in the long run,it could help us save alot of money in the long run as we no longer need to buy toothpase. However,if what the company claim is untrue, our mouth would be full of germs instead! So,i won't consider buying this unless i have see quite alot of good reviews for the product.
