This particular topic comes to my mind every now and then especially whenever I think that Sachin is going to retire within a couple of years.Indian cricket witnessed two great batsmen Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar?Though I haven't seen gavaskar palying in top form but I have seen Sachin play and I sincerely believe that he is th ebest batsman India has ever produced. What do yout think?Share your thoughts.

Hello,
It is difficult to judge who is the best. Each batsman has a special ability.we cannot criticize that sunil Gavaskar is not better than sachin because he faced only six countries. In the olden times, batting against some good brilliant bowlers was very tough. But sunil gavaskar was able to face them and he made centuries. It doesn't care how you play.It cares what you contribute to the Indian team and the country from his side.In my opinion i would say that both are quality batsmen.

I think it is not good to compare champions of two eras. I think both Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin have been great players. Of course the scoring rates of the two eras were completely different as well as the challenges of that era. It requires a great courage to play as an opener without an helmet and Gavaskar did that his entire career. While Sachin has undoubtedly been the greatest sportsman of this country.
Cheers!
