Before you make any assumptions, I'm a latina woman, US citizen and I will never forget that I was once an immigrant in this country.
I'm not into politics (hate politics) but this is a big issue where you have to see the big picture. If you haven't heard. The Governor of AZ signed a Law that if you get pulled over or commit crime, misdemeanor etc the police has the right to ask for your citizen status.
I agree with the law and I respect AZ for taking the stand. I don't live in AZ I live in (CA) but I can assume that crime must be very high and that is the reason why they decided to do something about it. Where I disagree is that many people have taken this Law to a whole different level. People doing racist comments. The law talks about "Illegal immigrants" now people are commenting about "hispanics" and "Mexicans" Now, is all baout Mexican's and now that the judge delayed the law, It's all about boycotting Mexican goods, stores, taking out gun shots against Mexican's. Seriously? This just takes away what the law really means or what purpose is to serve.
It clearly saids, "Illegal Immigrants" if you are asian, palestine, french, colombian and you are illegal you will be deported. But, a law like this seems to be be given power to "racist People"
What do you guys think?
