Okay for me,i am working as a part time promoter on the weekends as i am currently still a student,so it helps me to get some savings while studying too. For my job,i sometimes enjoy my work alot, the times that i do enjoy my work alot would be,the customers are friendly or my sales that day was good because it means i will earn more commision. However, there will also be times that i will not like my job, that would be whenever i meet a bad customer that will try to argue with you, ignoring you and makes me don't know what to do next. So,Do you really enjoy your current work? If yes,why yes? If no,why no? Thanks!

If you would gonna ask me about that, like what you are asking me now,
of course, i do enjoy my present job, though sometimes there are problems
that would thwart me from doing this and doing that, yet after
the end of each day, I would smile because I know I had contributed
something good for the company. Problems are naturally occurring, so the best
there is: When we tried our best to be smart and get through it successfully....
I am so happy that you are finding ways to earn despite your mind is still
occupied with the lessons in school. God bless friend and happy mylotting!

i do not enjoy my job that much. I love the internet privilages, the right to be at times but the pay and the atmosphere at work is not that good. I would really love to work in an office that encourages you to excel, to develop my skills and personality as well. I would like to work in a place where my hard work and dedication is being paid off. My work right now is not like that.

The job that I had that I enjoyed the most was working at a bakery delivering pastries. I would get up at 4am and prepare the pastries and drive delivering them. It was great driving when there were few cars on the road and finishing my day early. I've had other jobs: shipping and receiving, grocery manager at a supermarket, paints department manager, post office window clerk, expeditor and many other jobs, but nothing has been as nice as getting up early in the morning and delivering pastries, no supervisor, no punch in and out - just me and my commitment to do a good job on my own.

I love my work though it doesn't really feel like work as I enjoy it so much. I suppose it comes with a lot of responsibility as I am self-employed. It is important to enjoy what you do for work as it is usually a big part of your life!

I also love my job. But there are also times that I don't like it that much. An example would be like yours. I hate it when our clients are too nagging or rude. I hate it when they make you feel they know best or when they feel like they are the boss. But when there are days with no clients like these, I really love my work. I enjoy working.

For years, I worked at menial jobs, hating every minute of it. It's pretty bad when the thought of going to work actually makes you sick, but I had to work, so I put up with it.
Then, after 10 years at one particulary nasty job, I got laid off. I decided to go to college, and it's the best thing I ever did in my life. I graduated in 3 1/2 years with a Bachelor's degree, and landed a job in the mental health field.
I worked in a residential setting with mentally ill substance abusers. We tried to educate them on how to stay sober and live as independently as possible in the community, and I loved every minute of it.
It was very satisfying to see these guys progress and be successful in the program.
I don't think a lot of people can truly say they love their jobs, but I could. I can't work anymore, and I really miss it.

I became ill with a bone infection called chronic vertebral ostermylitis, which destroyed one of my lumbar vertebrae.
I can get around, but the condition can be contagious when not in remission, so I am barred from work, and since I have a compromised immune system, it's not a good idea to be around people who carry some other illness.

As for me, no. Because I only took this job because it was the easiest job I can do for now. I am so tired of the work I had that I just wanted a different scene in the workplace for me. The reason why I am not enjoying this is because I know I can get a better job than this that can pay the same or higher? But its the for now that I am worried with, I do not want that much pressure thus this would be my job for now.

ahslack,
Work enjoying means, it not that weather we really like or not, it is apart
from our day-to-day needs to fulfilling. For my job, i always likes to do it,
without any negative thoughts so that i feel like to love my job always
according to my way of interesting to selecting it. In this world we used
to learn how to face bad customer and good customer, and at the same time we should
ignore it according to the situation and make a right decision to go
further step.

When I worked at InfoCision in 2008, I can safely say I did not enjoy it. I felt guilty for pushing people into giving donations when they had so little themselves. Sure, it paid great, and my co-workers were very nice, save for a few, it didn't feel right to me.
Deep in my heart I knew it wasn't the job for me. I was eventually let go (a miracle perhaps?). I have been technically jobless for nearly two years, but in those two years I have been attending classes to earn my Bachelors of Science Information Technology in Web Programming. I have also been writing for Associate Content, The Examiner, and of course posting at Mylot.
I am in the process of looking for a job involving Web design while I seek out an agent to represent my novel. Here's to hoping that the near future will be pleasant and rewarding.

Oh that previous job you have definately could not be a permanent job,and like what you,you don't enjoy the job. It's great to see that you are aiming to get a bachelors degree,i am sure you can find a much better job. I am also studying something related to IT and programming, maybe next time you could guide me or something :p All the best in getting your bachelor degree and a good career prospect :)!

Thank you! I'm actually looking quite forward to it. So far, it's been a mixture of designing, programming, and lots of writing. My advice go to your library and get whatever books you can on programming. They really do help. So do online tutorials if you can find them.
I intend to improve myself more in the field of programming, and only through experience can I gain that aspect. So here's to hoping the best will happen to us both in the field of IT.

I can't really relate to the question. Maybe, my work is all-consuming that I don't really see it as work anymore. Well, at least, my work is not a job. I'm self-employed so I'm doing what is right and comfortable for me.
After much thought, I still cannot step back and see myself working. Hmm. Maybe it's time I should. A job. A job may be enjoyable.

Unfortunately, I'm unemployed right now. But, I really did enjoy the last job I had. I was a library aide. First, I love books, so having a whole building full of them at my fingertips was heaven. I liked my coworkers and also liked shelving and making sure the books were in the right order. Actually, "reading the shelves" (library lingo for making sure the books were shelved in the right order) was one of my favorite parts, even though some people find it the most boring. There was always the chance of finding a new book to read or an old favorite while I was doing it. Of course, it did sometimes get overwhelming busy. Not often, but more times than you might think for a library. And, sure, sometimes the patrons could be annoying, but I think that's something you have to expect when dealing with the public. But, there were patrons who were very friendly and were a pleasure to help. Circumstances beyond my control made the job unavailable, but I think if they hadn't happened, I'd still be doing it.

Is a library aide also known as a librarian? It's great that you love books and you can find a job regarding about books too. It's sad to hear that something happened and you no longer work in that area.I hope someday, you will find a job related to books again :).

I love my work. I conduct training programs and I enjoy it a lot. Most especially that I teach people on emergency care. Its about saving lives. Thus I find it very fulfilling. Moreover, I received request for training outside my area. Thus, I get the chance to travel.

Hmmmmm. There are times when I enjoy my work, and there are times when I don't. I think it really depends on what system I am auditing, or what my activity is for the day. Though I like my work, what I hate about the most is my salary, because it's just too low for me, and I need a higher paying job, though hopefully the type of work would still be the same.

hello ashslack!
that's life, it has its own ups and downs, and so with work too. Sometimes, you feel you're enjoying it because you are accomplishing a lot of things, with less friction and pressure and you feel satisfied because of it. Sometimes too colleagues and boss praise you for your good work which really boost our egos. i also meet a lot of people who have different family and social backgrounds than mine and its a challenge adjusting to them, which kind of enjoying.
On the other hand, there are times in my work that i met some very domineering and disagreeable people who makes it a business to ruin my day, and that's the time that i get to thinking that i don't like my kind of work. Sometimes too, your boss is too hard on you, pressuring you for a lot of things when you only have one body to work on it and then when you don't accomplish your targets, you feel bad about it.
But if you sum it all up, i think i generally like and enjoy my work with human resource department.

Hmm... Your question made me to think a little bit about what do I actually feel about my job comfortness. From one side, yes, I do like my job, cause Im already very experienced in my area and have achieved those career goals imagined from the beginning, but.... just because of that, I do not see any new goals to achieve and it starts to get boring. Sometimes I do feel, that I must change everything in my life again, to find some new area.
