Well you'll also see that they're all from newer members, and you know the discussion will be deleted most likely anyway. If you've got something to say, I say say it, those who have an interest on it will respond, and make it even more richer, and even more enjoyable. I like to write long discussions to ellicit long responses.

Well, their discussion is in violation of mylot guidelines and has been reported. Stick with the rules, minx. Don't let cheaters (after the quick and easy penny which is all it amounts to) prevent your progress.

HA HA!!! I almost blew coffee out of my nose when I went to that discussion. Yeah, I'm like you, my discussions are usually quite wordy, but that's just the way I write. I get some responses, usually from my friends that turn the whole discussion into a FOOD FIGHT....or I get a lot of responses if I start a controversial discussion......which I like to do sometimes just to see what happens when you poke a stick into a hornet's nest. I think we've all started a discussion (I know I have) talking about why people at myLot like dumbed down discussions....."what's you favorite pizza topping?"..."what's your favorite color?"..."t-shirt or tank top?"...etc. I think most people see more than one sentence and they run to the hills. WHATEVER!.........they're missing out on some great discussions that could really get their brain TO START THINKING AGAIN. But alas........the vast majority of people are here trying to make those few pennies, so they treat myLot like a fast food joint and they're trying to find those $1 value menu discussions...........they can have them.......I like to read AND write.....and I usually ignore the little one sentence discussions. Anywho........I stopped caring a long time ago......if I get something in my head, I come over here and write it down......people either respond or they don't....it is what it is.....I'm not here for the money, I'm here to make people think.......and to goof off. Sorry for taking up so much space in your discussion.............I CAN'T HELP MYSELF!!!

Hahahaha!!! I saw this also and was surprised to see how many responses it got??? WTF!!! How come I didn't think of that question??? You should have changed the title of this discussion to ... Attention MysD and Stine1! I've been seeing these two rant about discussions like this all day yesterday and it is extremely fun to see them get pissed off. Oooopsss Sorry..they got offered ice cream and cookies for their frustrations to vanish... Sorry if your frustrated... Here have some Ice cream and cookies too.

Ah very good point! I was surprised to see 522 under the name! I expected a one or two. I don't start many discussions either and I gave up for a while too. There are people here of all types and for all reasons. Don't give up, just keep on being you

Seems that I am late to respond to this discussion.. I could not read that link as it is no longer available... But Yes , when I start a discussion I hardly get a good number of comments.... I don't know what I am doing wrong.. I rarely start a discussion... May be m discussions are not interesting...

Oh minx please don't give up! I did not get a chance to view that discussion as by the time I caught up with this one and saw the link it had already been deleted. Anyways I do not get upset if people are annoyed about my lengthy responses and or started discussions. I post from the heart and soul and I find I have assisted and guided several people her on myLot. I have also found that short and long posted discussion have assisted and taught me a few things or two. Although I have not always agreed with some of the responses and or posted discussions, I perhaps get a bit pinched nerve but here is how I see it, I take it with a grain of salt and move on. Viewing from the number of discussions under your belt apparently you have been doing something right, and although you may not have been told you have helped someone apparently you have not been reported a zillion times either, so you apparently are doing something right. Lastly, while posting our responses surely everyone has to notice that myLot says Please be as descriptive as possible. The guidelines also say that yes I agree is against the rules. So onward dear you are doing a great job
