Funds Slowly Growing Every Day

Yesterday I posted about changing venue for my son's surgery. But when almost everyone disagrees with this opinion, we decided to stick with the original plan of doing it here in the city.
I am overwhelmed with the support coming in. More people pledged their supports. And at this moment, we already gathered about 15% of the total estimated cost. It is still too far from the target but hopefully, it will grow more by the next few days.
If only more people will be reached by my call for help on Facebook and the other sites.

I wish you luck with getting another 15% increase in the next few days to come. I am sure that all will fall into place for you and the money will be raised, when is the appointment for the procedure, or has it not been made yet?

i really hope so my friend. we have not set another appointment yet so as the operation proper. i thought of going to the doctor once we raise at least 50 to 60 percent.

That is a good idea, and as is they may not be able to get your son in for the surgery for a few weeks after that so it gives you more time to save!

i already posted my thank you message on the Yahoo Groups.
i also posted a lot of them on Facebook.
one thing i am not sure is, they never inform us who they are and so we could not determine whom to acknowledge properly.
we'll leave it the the Lord to return back the blessings to them.
Thanks Be To God.

neildc I was just thinking , we have a lot of charity groups here in th e U S, do you have anything in your area like the Lions Club ,the Optimist Club,Salvation Army,The Masons, I know here these groups often donate funds for helping people here who are in simular situations. If you have such groups ask for their help as I am sure a lot of them would wish to see a small boy get well. probably a lot would have children of their own.
I am glad more people are pledging and hope it will swell more swiftly so you can set a date. all my best wishes for you and yours.

Well I could only hope and pray that whatever your decision for your son will yield good result. Indeed asking help online might be just a slow way of getting support. You should rather first go to foundations and organizations whose main purpose is to finance cases like your son.

i agree to that salonga, online help is coming slowly but still they are coming.
like i have said before, i have contacted the foundation you suggested. but due to the reason that i can get assistance from the philhealth, they refuse to extend their assistance to us.
i also contacted one children's hospital in the states. unfortunately they do not cater to problems like apnea and they also don't have financial assistance program for non-patients of their hospital.
since many have already pledged support, i wish to take some time until i guess, there won't be nothing to expect more.
i will be moving with the next step by the next few days also. i will start approaching people, offline. there were also few people suggested to go to this and that, that they heard also help the needy.

Well, keep it up and surely you will get what you need if it is to be. Fate has a way of working things out. I can understand what you are doing and why.

Dear Neildc,
It is very sorry hear about your situation. I can propose solutions to overcome from your problem.
1. Email marketing with Facebook and etc
2. Apply for social services website
There are lot of foundation helping to the people. You apply for them.
3. Contact via telephone number
I wish you all the best to you and your son.
