What conditions do you require???

Dear fellows, it is the most general question I believe. What conditions do you look for, when you start writing a new article? How about the atmosphere, the surroundings, the mood, and the most important how about the thought process? Many times, it has happened to me that I planned to write something and I knew I could make it the best one... But when I sat down to write, I couldn't think well and write well... In such cases, I simply stop and think... Then I jot down the points and begin writing- explaining each point in detail, which I had just jotted down... Does this happen to you too??? Problems while writing... I think I get problems because I am too excited when I begin my article... How about you? Please share...

As writing article goes, it's a bit problematic for me because I'm publishing blogs with multiple sections. And so far, I have decided to write for myself. But while doing that, I am aware that I am performing at least two roles: editor, writer and also copywriter. So, the first decision I need to make is as an editor. I ask, what can the readers expect from the articles I publish in terms of solving their problems? I usually limit the answers based on a certain "catchy" theme I want for the specific issue. Once I decided on the major theme, that's the time I break it down to several pieces based on the purpose of each section. I even decided on the ideal word count for the pieces to be delivered. So, the writer is left with the responsibility of just fleshing out certain major ideas with specific keywords are word count. To further make the writing process efficient, I already decided as editor the structure of the pieces. The first paragraph states the problem and the proposed solution. The second or next paragraph merely reinforces the chosen solution with reasoned arguments. The last paragraph concludes the piece are repeats what was said in the first paragraph with links added. I managed to keep the copywriting work in the background using policies like using specific keywords on the title. So, to answer your questions about the writing process, and so on, I have consciously divided the writing process into the work performed by editor, writer, copywriter or some other specialist like a link builder to insert the Amazon links to a specific book. Even though I still perform these roles now, I don't allow myself thinking like a writer trying to write a Pulitzer prize winning piece. I write as if I had a superior or boss who dictates to me what kind of piece I need to write. Anyway, am I making sense?

Hiiii ... Thanks for sharing... It seems as if you have given me a new method to write with more quality... I'll follow your method... Performing all the roles by one's self will definitely make it a lot better... Thank you once again... Happy Lotting and Keep writing!

Sorry for some grammatical errors. I was writing and editing fast. Anyway, to my listed roles, I need to add proofreader.

mr pearl, Although the environment plays an important role before I begin writing, but I have come to learn to write in different and unusual sort of environment. I could be sitting on my couch quietly, I could be in the bus or I could be in the toilet when I start writing. The location and environmental factors were not as important to me as the motivation to write when the idea comes. Sometimes the right words do not flow, but I always tell myself, I can edit it later. So the important thing for me is to get the article going. If I can't get them in full sentences, I would jot down some points first, then elaborate. Do not pressure yourself by saying that this is going to be the greatest article I will ever write and then unable to come up with a single word. Let go and just write!

Thank you for sharing... This happens to me a lot of times... I think that I am going to make it the best of all and end up looking for words to express myself... Over time, I have come over with it but sometimes (especially when I am tired) I get puzzled and give it up for that moment.. Later when I am relaxed, I start again... There is one other thing.. I get my ideas anytime... And if I don't jot down the points I forget those ideas... I am not always able to write though... :(

I can't recall ever having legitimate writer's block in the sense that I got it and my writing went full stop. I have been plagued by everything from procrastination to garbled brain syndrome. But I just relax, close all my pages, look at something else for a few minutes, and don't think about "writing" at all. Then I'm good to go.

HI Buddy... Great to read from you... Seems like I too have the same habits... :) But I get problems in concentatring... I get puzzled many times... I finish once, then go back and read it all over again... And then, edit it... That makes it kind of a good one...

Hi Tayrone... Thanks for sharing... You made me remember the times, when I try hard to concentrate and write something with proper quality, adequate words etc... At such times, my mind is bursting with ideas but I can not put them together... I have been through this... The only thing that we can do is to stop and take a deep breath and think clearly... Moments when we simply go on writing are he best ones.. I don't get many such moments and whenever I have got, I have made the most of it... Thanks again... Good Day!

Less distractions I guess. I usually write every night when everybody is already sleeping.

I can't write at home. I just can't concentrate there. This means that there are days that I have to go to my coffee place and usurp their internet while I drink their coffee. I also have to be alone. I sat with a friend who was also working, and I found myself doing other stuff or spending more time on Facebook. This all goes to show that I work better or write more when I'm alone. Kind of a good thing.
