Anyone familiar with ad.ly?

I just saw a banner on a web page for a program that claims you can make money by allowing ads for products you like to be displayed on your fb and in your Twittter stream. I was thinking of signing up to try it out, but I wanted to see if anyone here knew anything about it first.
Affiliate marketing sounds like a good idea and then you sign up and no one ever clicks on anything. This ad.ly thing is supposed to let you choose what stuff gets advertised, but it kind of seems too good to be true.
What do you think myLot?

I signed up for adly but I haven't check my adly account for some time. I'm kind of confused about how it works also. I'm not sure if you go to twitter and post allot would better your chances of making money. I kind of think it might work like that. Keep checking your adly account message box.
