There has been a lot of controvercy on whether fruits should be eaten with milk or not. Although we find fruit milk shakes and many other similar recipies where fruits are directly eaten with milk, many people say that fruits react with milk to form bad compounds. Whereas some people say that milk provides necessary fats needed for the assimilation of the vitamins present in fruits.
What's your opinion.

I would have to be a nutritionist to be sure about it. It is true that not all people should drink milk after a certain age and many have problems with lactose. But I guess tha that has more to do with milk itself than with the combination. I like a couple of milk and fruit mixtures and I don´t have any problems with them. I like bananas ans strawberries blended with milk. But I don´t like apricots as they are too sour and change milk.
Welcome to mylot and have a nice day!

Yeah, that's the point. Many people like fruits blended with milk. And this new theory that fruits and milk are not a good combination seems too wierd.
Thanks and happy mylotting.

The latest thing that I have read about this is that fruit should be eatten on an empty stomach with no other food to get all the health benifits from it. The reasoning is that other foods basically spoil the fruit and you don't get everthing that you should from it. You should eat both fruit and Milk but I would try to eat them at diffrent time. I think that they mix fruits into items to make them seem healthier a lot of times the fruit that is being mixed in is covered in syurp and lots of sugar so it is not any better than mixing in candy. So I try to eat my fruits on an empty stomach or at least eat them first before other things. I have not really seen much of a diffrence at this point but it as least worth a try. But next week a new study will probably be done that will say somthing else. So who knows.

I believe that fruits and milk is bad combination it is not very healthy to do this mix. To my mind it is better to don't take this mix overy offten.
