Yup, I can't live without an internet connection. I do freelance writing jobs so basically an internet connection is a necessity for me. I also do banking online as I don't have much time to go to the bank just to check if I've already received my monthly payouts.
I also enroll online (I'm at the later part of finishing my business degree in UE) to avoid additional hassle.
Bottomline -- I can't live without the internet!

I forgot to mention I was completely offline for three days; TUE, WED and THURS, as my unit's motherboard and processor was corrupted. Anyway, I brought a new one and I'm still adjusting to it.
Life for the past three days (offline) was actually fun and stress-free but the three-day loafing around really took a negative impact on my projected earnings (I'm a stats junkie.)
It was fun nonetheless.

Internet is the information highway these days, and all the reasearch work I do needs the internet. I have to do a lot of research related to my business, market research, supplier research, company information, and much more. All of these need the internet. Besides, communication these days are mostly by emails, business and personal.

Hi mimiang, I could hardly live without any internet connection. It's meaningless even if we own a good quality laptop. I spend most of my time studying new knowledge and acquiring new info from various websites concerned. I amuse myself listening music and watching video online as well. If without steady and smooth internet service I'm sure I couldn't have fun reading and typing posts here at myLot forum.
I'm really disappointed that one of my colleagues has lost her interest having fun here at myLot site due the sluggish internet connection in her area. She felt fed up, although to complain the internet service provider for the unsatisfied network service subscribed for numerous times, still ISP never upgrades the network in her region As what I know only good internet connection could make the loading here fluently and fast for I had suffered from such disgusting situation before.
Happy posting and have a nice day

Absolutely not! This is my connection to the outside world, being alone here I need that. Soon I will be giving up my tv and downgrading my phone service, I will not sacrifice my internet, I need it. Beside the computer, I crochet a lot and read but sometimes I need to look something up (I do that a lot) and I keep in touch with friends and family through the internet. The internet is the greatest invention since the wheel.

Yesterday, I had to live without the Internet. For one day, it seemed to drag on forever. I can just imagine how badly any more time without the Internet had to go. The fact is, I have been on the Internet for so long, that something about life just feels rather empty without it.
The Internet really does affect our lives in many ways and especially mine. I just feel disconnected from the world at large when I am offline, as I connect with so many of my friends online. They seem to be a bit out of reach offline a lot of the time, and also the news is gathered from the Internet a lot of the time. I think that I can handle a day without the Internet but much more than that, it can be really frustrating.

Oh, yeah... I can live without internet. I mean, it would make things little harder but that's about it. Internet is convenience for me, not a must. Having an internet connection does make my job a lot easier. I often think back on how we lived without it for so long.

I wonder what I did with my free time before I had a good internet connection - which is only a couple of years. Before that I had a decade or more of really bad dial-up connections. Those times were not easy, just reading your daily email was a chore. Now it seems that I should have much more free time but I haven't! I spend more and more time on the internet - for what?
Truth is, it's addictive and you really do waste your time online.

A BIG NO!!!
Younger generation like me can't live without Internet. New research indicates that in the future more companies will have to use the Internet to reach consumers. The study indicates a "Net Generation" - users who are currently between 16 and 29 years of age - who prefer the Internet to television.
Personally speaking, Internet can do everything, including corresponding with foreign pen pals, online. There’s email, online banking, blogging, telecommuting, shopping, social networking, and my beloved amazon.com and eBay.
I love the Internet with all its time wasting activities! :)
