hi friends......this is abj again......i think if you read a book then you just create your own imaginary personality of characters in book....and in movies you dont have to do anything.....just sit and watch.......for me .....i think books have more impact than the movie made from same book.....what about you mylotters??

i do agree with you on this... sometimes watching the movie just sucks... it don't live up to what i expect... it usually is a shortcut that my own favorite parts of the book are not included... and also, sometimes the artist who portrayed the role of my favorite character is not that good... so it ends up that i like the book more than the movie...

hi abh hi again or yet he he. yes like Stephen Kings books, the movies always slaughter them unless he himself gets the author's right to say what goes into t he movie. those he guides He always plays a minor role in and you have to watch really close to see him as its just a few seconds role. but those really do follow the book, otherwise I prefer his books as I can u se myown imagination and really enjoy the book. Yes the books I read have always had more impact even if made into a movie as the movie is seldom always following the storyline of the book.

I agree. I love the version on the book rather than the movie. Maybe because the movie is restricted to its time frame that some wonderful scenes and characters were cut.
