I will be traveling to Las Vegas soon with my husband. Does anyone have any ideas on must-do activities and how to do them cheaply? Our entertainment budget is around $200. Thanks for your advice! I'll be sure to tell you how it turns out! Cheers!

I agree! With the lots of things to do and see in Vegas, there's no need to buy show tickets, unless there's one on your "must see" agenda. Casino hopping is one activity we indulge in whenever we go to the Sin City! Not really serious gambling, just experiencing the highs whenever we hear the winning bell. Been there off and on since the early 80's at different seasons. I don't like it in the summer though. Of course you won't feel the heat inside, but outside! Try walking about at a temperature of 102+!

I agree with stine1: You probably won't be bored! It's quite awesome just walking the strip and taking in the unique atmosphere - inside and outside all the properties. And seriously, this takes time! A few other freebies that come to mind are the Bellagio Fountains (don't miss them!) and the botanical gardens (also at Bellagio,)the Forum Shops at Caesar's, the lion habitat at MGM Grand. And downtown, you'll want to see the Fremont Street Experience. There is a deal for $54 you can choose three attractions from this list: The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat at Mirage (I've been to both and loved them even more than I thought I would!), Titanic artifact exhibition at Luxor, BODIES exhibition at Luxor, the roller coaster at NYNY, CSI Experience at MGM Grand, and Spongebob 4D ride at Excalibur. I've also heard the Mac King Comedy Magic show at Harrah's is inexpensive and great fun, although I've not seen him. I'm more of a cirque fan, but those shows would take your whole entertainment budget. I hope you have a fantastic time!
