Do you smile at strangers?

I do smile at strangers depending on thier status, because some one said smile cost less but gives more light than electricity. Smile has its own value. Smiling persons are always considered to be kind hearted and frank.

For me it depends upon my mood and depends upon the stranger, if I am happy or in a good mood I slime even in strangers but if not I do not smile like if I am mad or angry. Also if the stranger is look like a goons or he or she is in a bad mood I do not smile on them.

Yes, I smile on the strangers especially when they helped me. I have one experience that I talked and also smile on that stranger. She is very kind and she helped me to find the station of the van to find my way home. I thanked her and smiled at her. I do smile but not to all of the strangers, depending on the situation.

I love smiling and yes I smile at stranger. Once while I am coming from home I met one guy and I smiled at him. He also gives a sweet smile and walk straight even me too. After walking few steps I heard somebody is calling me so I turned back and looked. He asked 'do you know me' and I said 'why/ what happened? No I don't know you'. He said 'than why you are smiling at me' and I said 'no reason I love smiling so I just smile at you'. He got blushed and said 'I thought you know me' and he went.

Yes I do always. " smile cost nothing and pays a lot" keeping this in my mind I smile to every body. Even we feels happy to see stranger smiling to us. Smile is a first step to interact with the people, we should smile to others. I had a good friend, once who was my stranger, due to our smile to each other, now we are good friend.

hi ivygrey I smile at most people unless someone is very surly with me, but why not smile its better than frowning at everyone. Most people I meet are strangers until perhaps we become friends.I do not have any smiling at strangers stories, I just like to give others a smile as it makes me feel good inside.

I am usually very friendly but it depends with whom I might give a smile, if I am at work then I will always smile even to those I do not know, and when I am having lunch in the restaurants downstairs I will smile to people there however if ever I am all alone and someone is trying to approach me then I will never try to smile.

If a stranger says hi to me and smiles at me, I will do the same because I have good manners. If someone is nice to me, I treat them nice back. I like it when people are nice because it shows that they have respect for others and their kindness spreads the goodness around.

Yes, I do especially if it is a child and the person has a pleasnt face. That means it only meant friendliness and nothing suspicious. But, in other instances, I'd ignore smiling back to strangers especially if I am in an unfamiliar places. It is better to be aloof than giving a wrong signal. However, smiles can do wonders in one's life. It can even heal one's broken heart even for a sec.;-)

Very rare, depends on the situation like yours. When a stranger smile at me, I don't smile back, I'll think first if I know him/her, she/he must talk to me first. There are certain occasion that strangers great me or say hi to me while walking, I don't entertain that though.

I love to smile so everywhere I go I bring it with. My husband has a saying that a smile costs nothing and can change a persons life for the positive without you ever knowing it, with that in mind how could I not smile at others.
