My wife is pregnant, many things to do and prepare for new child and the woman must abstain from unsuitable foods, must be careful in every actives and so on...
For example:
Modern medicine recommend mothers should stay away from Coffee, smoking, stimulant, alcohol, etc...
According to old customs, mothers must be AVOID:
.Use chipped small bowl, dishes... any chipped china things. (It make the baby not completely like the chipped things.)
.Sitting on the floor without anything lined. (You will have a stubborn child.)
....
Do you have any advice? I'm really exciting an hope suckling wait be going her first bearth.

I noticed that you did not mention anything about a cat. If you have one, she must avoid changing the litterbox because this can transmit a disease called toxoplasmosis. My doctor was careful to warn me about this but not all doctors think about it.

Welcome to myLot
We live in a society where it has become sort of unbareable to even breath. What is right for one pregnancy may not be right for another.
You both need to ask the obstetrician as to what is proper and correct during pregnancy. Let's face it pregnancy and being a parent we do not come with manuals. Research and ask many questions, although you do not have to take it all in you must however do what is right for one another.
Hope this helps.

That is what we are here for to give and take advice. Although we will not always agree it is the same with life.
Let's face it being a parent does not come with a manual so listen to all advice and then do what is best.

Hello friend welcome to mylot
Each society culture and religion have traditional rules to be observed by pregnant women, one thing all agree is she should not lift heavy weights,
It is better both of you meet a gyn specialist and get advise, there are some online sites that advise too
Wish you a cute healthy baby..
Thanks for sharing.
Welcome always.
Cheers.
