When is the right time to put up a Christmas tree?

ummmm well this year is going to be different but I like to put it up about half way through December. We are moving this year, yep right before christmas, JOY JOY. So the festivities may be inbetween unpacking boxes. I cant see myself entertaining this year, unless its in a half empty house...LOL

Sorry, had to say it. We already have our tree up and decorated. My husband put it up on Tuesday. We put the final touches on it today, but still have to get bows for it. So I guess it wasn't truly the final touch. We also have decorated our living room and kitchen area. My plan is to bring a little Christmas into every room of the house this year. We do a little at a time so we are not overwhelmed. This is my favorite holiday and I want to be able to enjoy it as much as possible.
