Well well. There are many who consider that Page Rank is great thing to have and one should spend hours and hours of hard work into SEO to get better rankings. But how good is Page Rank without Traffic?
Don't get me wrong here. This is what my Client Asked me - "Man I have invested XXXXUSD in getting that website done and then XXXUSD in getting that stuff hosted. Do you expect me to wait and watch that investment go down the drain just because of some Ranking?"
See many web owners just dont understand what SEO is about and what advantages Page Rank has. They are just interested in getting noticed ASAP.
So I would like to know what your valuable suggestions are.

Simple. Web traffic.
First of all, page rank is a derived value. This means it cannot be directly manipulated. It is the end result of a formula or algorithm.
Page rank is a lot like profit. Again, profit is a derived value or a number that is the combination of a lot of inputs and is the end result of some kind of formula. To understand the necessary action for getting a higher page rank, we need to see first what it takes to increase profit. It is, of course, simple. You either increase your price or lower your cost. Well, actually, you can do both. And either one or both can increase profit.
So, in the case of page rank, there are several levers or variables to manipulate. One, of course, is web traffic. Next, the number of backlinks or incoming links to a page. The density of keywords is also possible to manipulate.
Of course, after all these, page rank does not necessarily contribute to the bottom line. There are much better metrics.

Haha! Funny, this discussion sounds Greek to me. You are both techie people but I do love to learn and I'm glad I'm hearing this. I'm hoping I can slowly grasp all these technical terms you are talking about. Thanks!
