What is the real benefit of Twitter??

First of all, I have 25+ Twitter accounts and I plan to add some more. So, I have clear expectations of what Twitter can do for me. What problems am I trying to solve anyway? As a blogger and a publisher of blogs, I needed to promote the publication and myself as a blogger or writer. If I have other bloggers blogging for me, I'll be promoting them as well. So, how do I do that? My solution create a Twitter persona that I can reference or link from my blogs. In the case of my blog about blogging, Kanshu Chronicle, I'm BlogAdvisor. And I assume the role of editor and publisher. In my blog about moneymaking, Bloggeroo Journal, I'm MoneyEngineer. And I behave as a moneymaking expert or financial advisor. And so on. From my Twitter accounts, I tweet things that are related to the corresponding blog publication and naturally, I include a link to my blogs ergo I have backlinks to specific blog posts. So, what is so amazing about all this? From a marketing point of view, I have a marketing solution or system that I can use to develop my brands.
