Is anyone else into fractals?

I've been fascinated with fractals ever since I was a kid, but it was only recently that I got hold of some decent software that allows me to create my own fractals.
Fractals are common in nature - just look at a pine cone, snail, fern, and many other things. They are essentially patterns that are repeated recursively. That means that the larger pattern is made up of smaller and smaller patterns, potentially ad infinitum.
In any case, I now call myself a fractal artist because I generate fractals with various programs and then edit them with photo editing software to put finishing touches on them and/or titles and poems.
So, does anyone else out there enjoy and/or create fractal art like me? I'm really curious to know!

I haven't done any screen savers, but maybe sometime in the future. :-) In the meantime, I'll stick to single image creations. And if I can ever get to that magic user rating number, I'll be able to include some fractal pics in my posts.

Well, at least I'm glad there's somebody out there that appreciates fractals! Thanks!
I've uploaded a few fractal creations to the Interest fractal artwork but I'll have to wait until I make that magic user rating number here before I can include any in my posts.
