FOR ME I DO PREFER , A FRIEND BECAUSE YOU WILL KNOW THE REAL HIM/ HER INSIDE AND OUT. UNLIKE A LOVER THAT STARTING IN COURTSHIP STAGE, THEY ARE ALWAYS LOOKING THE BEST FOOT FORWARD AND NOT SHOWING THE REAL SELF.

i would choose a lover, coz, a lover can be your friend at the same time, but a friend cannot be your lover. there's a very thin line separating from a friend and a lover, coz, your relationship with each other is only until friendship, no more, no less, no strings attached, just until there. but if you are a lover, you can also be a friend. if you are not a friend to your lover, then, he/she is not a lover. he/she maybe a person you only taken for granted. because when you love someone, there's something in your relationship that combines the two, love and friendship. that two, must come hand in hand to have a good relationship with each other. so i can say, that it is better to be a lover than a friend.
