what do you think of Ellen quitting American Idol?

I just heard of this piece of news from a friend of mine and admittedly I was a bit shocked. I was really excited when it was announced last year that she'll be one of the judges, unfortunately I was not able to watch a whole lot of American Idol last season, so I was hoping I could see Ellen this year. this is sad.

I had no idea about this, I just heard about it now, in your post. But I think this is definitely bad news for the show, she is so cute and she was great on the show. So it's the show's loss, really!
