Readbud is a scam site and this is confirmed. You want a proof then read this article:

Any site that gives easy money and looks too good to be true is almost always a scam and Readbud certainly is one of them. Don't waste time with Readbud.

I agree with the article you quote in many points. I too have encountered a person who was not paid because she 'had rated the articles too quickly'. I wonder if this was the same person (she is a female and a member of MyLot).
My problem is that, every time I log into Readbud, there are 10,000 or so members online. I have been a member since April 2010 and I expect that there are quite a few thousand who ought to have reached payment already. I still see no more than the handful of 'proofs of payment' (and at least two of those are almost certainly hoaxes). MANY people must have reached payout by now. WHY don't we see either 'proofs of payment' OR 'I have not been paid ... it is a scam'?
In about a week I should reach payout. I can PROVE that my reading of articles has been consistent and reasonable because I have the exact timing details (downloaded from the website) in a spreadsheet. I KNOW that I have genuinely read and rated all the articles I have been presented with (because I actually have!). If I get paid, I shall post it where many people can see it. If I don't, it will also be suitably broadcast!

Okay go and prove to yourself. I would be happy if you could prove readbud is not really a scam but as for me I will no longer spend time on that site. Time is so precious to be wasted.

Readbud certainly have a way of knowing when someone is scamming them. They record times when you accepted an article and when you rated it. They know exactly how many words are in the article and how long it should take the average person to read it. If you are trying to fool them by guessing, then you will find yourself denied payment when you get to $50.
As far as I can say at the moment, Readbud is not PROVED to be a scam. I am due to reach the payout in about 8 days. I can PROVE that my timings are consistent with actually reading the articles (because I actually DO read the articles and because I record my times). I doubt that you have done that.
WHEN Readbud is proven not to pay when all the rules have been observed, THAT is the time to call them a scam. Your statement that you "do not even read articles i just rate them after waiting a few minutes" indicates that YOU are the scammer!
