It has been reported that Chelsea Clinton's wedding could cost as much as $5M. If this is true, I believe it is sinful. With so many starving, and dying of diseases in the world, I cannot see how another human can justify spending this amount on one special day. What are your thoughts?

OMG! I was going to start a discussion about this! I was so angry when I heard. It is not illegal but immoral. These people have a lot of money and it is understandable that their daughter would have a very expensive wedding but five million bucks? Fifteen thousand dollar portable loos…It is so very wrong when there are so many out there who cannot afford to feed themselves. I find it shameful I really do! I hope their marriage works out and that they are happy but five mil?…It is as a bad as Paris Hilton spending $5,000 for a diamond studded collar for her Chihuahua!

I don't envy the rich, but sometimes what they do with their money really annoys me. I thisk the Clintons just want to have a wedding like no other. I'm surprised at Bill after all the charity work he has been doing, I wouldn't have thought he would have sanctioned such spending.

Rich and popular people do want to make every sepcial events of their life like weddings wonderful.
For as long as they have the money, the expenses is not an issue to them.
I just wish that their marriage will last so that the cost of that wedding will not go to waste.

it's such a slap in the face to those who don't even have enough money to feed their families.In the first place, i could care less about this girls wedding, never mind the media feeling the need to broadcast how much it will cost. They just don't think or care who hears about this and how much it effects those who are suffering just to abe able to pay their bills. While i can understand the Clintons wanting to make their daughters wedding a memorable and happy day, spending $3 or $5M on this in my opinion is outrageous and wasteful.
