Are you having trouble finding a new anime to watch too?

Is it just for or are other people having that same problem too. I'm really finding it hard to find new anime to watch lately. It's either I've already seen it or I'm not interested in the plot/characters/animation of the newer shows coming out. I'm noticing that a lot of the newer shows coming out are "moe". There's a gigantic boom in that type of anime since The Melancholy of Haruhi and Lucky Star came out. I'm not against it or anything but there's only so much cuteness one can take. Besides that the other shows that are coming out are either sequels to shows I never cared for the begin with or shows with poor story lines.

For me I'm just sticking with Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and Hitman Reborn as the top anime currently being aired. Some nice new anime are the Maid Sama and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.

I guess that's my problem since I'm not really a big fan of "the big three" (as Naruto, Bleach and One Piece is known as). I've read the manga for Maid-sama and it wasn't my thing either. And I already finished FMA Brotherhood. It was a fantastic series. So, now I find myself lost. I'm currently browsing around looking for older series to watch now.

Hello saizo!
I know what you mean,I've been having the same trouble as you but in my case I pick anime according to the way i feel in that moment. There are a lot of good anime I haven't seen yet simply because I'm not in the mood for them. I have them, but just couldn't find the proper mood for them.
I really can't believe you've seen all the old ones though. Especially since there are a lot of good ones still ongoing (hate them so much for the way they torture me with one episode/week :))
My recommendation to you is to switch a bit to tv shows or even live-action. Your problem could actually be an..overdose :) You've seen so many that none of them are appealing anymore. So take a break and then try it again.
Or...tell us what kind of anime you like and maybe we can recommend you some good ones.
So...cheer up and happy myloting! :)

Hey Reyachan, thanks for the advice. That's actually what I've been doing for the past few months. I've mostly been watching a bunch of asian dramas along with some tv shows. I figured I needed a break from anime for a bit. I'm still watching a few episodes here and there but that's about it. I think I'll wait a bit before diving back in. I usually go through phases where I prefer to watch certain genres so I'll wait until the mood strikes. And I'm actually not too picky, I'll watch just about anything except for hentai series (can't stand those).

none of the new anime, besides Heroman look appealing to me, I tried House of Five Leaves but it wasn't really my thing. I was thinking about starting Sangoku Bsara but I'm probably going to blind buy it on DVD, 'cause it looked interesting but I'm waiting for the English dub, I usually just watch what's on Hulu or Funimation's YouTube Channel.

I also tried House of Five Leaves but I couldn't get over the strange looking animation. It was too much of a distraction for me to actually pay attention to the storyline. As for Sengoku Basara, I haven't seen the second season yet but the first one was okay. It's not what I'm used to when watching about the events taking place in the Warring States period. Although, I did wish to see a bit more actual fighting in the series.

I don't find it difficult in looking for new animes.
I'm hooked at Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Since Reborn episodes ends for now, I watched Kuroshitsuji.
