Well to me ok I can take it for a while since I have a baby sister, but after a while it gets annoying because now she thinks that by crying she will get everything that's how my dad taught her to be and I hate it. What do you think can you stand it when babies cry or does it get to you after a while tell me what you think.

Babies crying are in my opinion probably more annoying if you don't have children of your own. They don't really annoy me even though I do not have any children however, I am not often exposed to babies crying for a sustained period of time. It is I think just their way of getting attention. I would say this is natural as at such a young age how do you know any different. I believe that if I had children of my own I would be able to cope as I understand why they cry.

Yes it's simple to understand why they cry I just hate it that my baby sis cries for the wrong reasons and my dad always gives in and treats her like a princess that's why she doesn't behave to good because she know that nobody will do anything about it because she will go to my dad.

Before I had kids: annoying
After I had kids: ohh, poor baby, what's wrong?

It gets on my nerves after a while also. When my daughter was little she went through spell where she was fussy all the time. With teething and colic. I sometimes would put her in her crib and just sit out on the porch for a bit. That way I wouldn't feel frustrated. As long as they are fed, dry and not ill then it is very annoying. My daughters youngest cries a lot. When the dogs walk by him. When he thinks his sister might take a toy. Or maybe she sits too close. LOL. I know it is a stage. But my daughter and her 3 children live with us. When he does it for no reason with me I just pick him up and sit him in his room and walk out. Took me a few times of doing this but now he doesn't do it when they are with nana and papa. Now I find when we go to restaurants I do not like to have to be seated by children. Because if they cry the entire time I am there I am extremely annoyed. I know this sounds mean but I want a tad of peace when we are out of the house.

I'm good with ignoring annoying sounds. This could become a real problem one day. I might not hear a fire alarm and burn up in my house.

The sound of a baby's crying is certainly annoying to say the least, but if it is a small baby, crying is the only way it has to communicate and let you know it needs something. It's hungry, it needs to be changed, it has gas and needs to be burped. Maybe it's just bored and doesn't want to feel alone. Crying like this is natural and important. It would be a problem if the baby didn't cry.
If your baby sister is a little older in the toddler stage, she may reach a stage to throw tantrums to get what she wants. When a child throws a tantrum, it is not a good idea to give in to him/her, as it will teach negative behavior. This kind of crying is best to ignore so it will gradually go away.

anime better get used to it or plan not to have children. As babies do cry , if you mean a toddler just do not give in to her when she cries if you know this is just to get her own w a y. hOw old she is another thing as little babies cry as they do not have a vocabulary yet to tell their parents what they need. but with toddlers you have to have some paTience as they are just toddlers not grownup.you were once a toddler yourself and you probably did your share of crying to get your own way too.
I have a lot of patience with little ones as I know they do not know better yet.How old is your sister? and do you try to be more patient with her?

Babies will cry. it is a fact of life. Crying is the only babies have to communicate with their world. Sometimes it just depends on the mood we are in how much a baby;s crying will affect us. Most often we can find little ways to soothe a baby's crying. If you let it a baby's crying annoy you, then it surely will. Otherwise, you find a way to cope with it. Babies won't be babies forever. the crying will stop.

Crying is a baby's way of telling the people around her that she or he wants something. so if the baby is that young to talk or to signal in other ways how or what she is feeling, then I dont really get bothered with all the crying. I hate it though when a "kid" keeps on crying just to catch attention or just plainly being a brat.

To me it's been endurable listening to crying babies. What I can't bear at times was the cry of a girl whose age is more than 5 years but still too young to be considered a teenager. Those grown up baby type of kids who were living their immature lives to the fullest by crying out loud almost everyday. They always find something to fight about. It's a mystery as to what causes babies to cry but they seem to cry more when calmed down.

You'll understand if you yourself have your baby. I myself am annoy hearing our neighbor's baby cry in the middle of a silent sleepy night.

Hello Anime. I don't mind babies crying because they can't tell us what's wrong, they can only cry to get our attention so it's normal for them to cry a lot. What does annoy me is older children throwing tantrums to get their own way. A lot of parents don't seem to know how to deal with it so they just give in to the child. There's nothing worse than seeing a child controlling it's parents in that way.

Crying can be frustrating sometimes annoying but we dont know why they are crying. There several reasons why they cry. What your dad is doing is the way he knows that can make your little sister stops crying. I too get irritated when my little girl cries and the only way we can make her stop is to cuddle her or console her or give her the thing she is asking for as long as it is available.

I have just had a son who is only 15 months old, and he seldom cry for long time and I think it is Ok for me to bear it. But sometimes he cried for quite a long time and this would make me worrying about if anything wrong with him. But I have not get angry about his crying untill now, maybe it is because I love hime too much to angry with him.
