Remakes

i like a show from long ago to be that show. i cannot get into the same show with other actors. it isn't the same for me. i understand, however, that a new generation gets to see it now. i bet if we showed an older show of the new one today, the newer generations would love it..

While a remake will usually have more CGIs, it lacks the originality of the story. So, I would prefer the original version unless that is a sci-fi movie where CGIs is the make-or-break of it.

It all depends on the remake. Some are a waste of film like the remake of Psycho, where all they did was remake the film verbatum with new actors. and then there is D.O.A. where the remake was revamped with a modern plot change. Both films are good. Same with Cape Fear. Both are great , scarry but great. For me it all depends.

A remake of a film just never seems to be able to live up to the originsl version. Sometimes i wish that remakes would not be made. So often we are disappointed with the outcome.

Hmmmm. I've noticed lately that there are alot of remakes. Sometimes I don't know why they decided to do remakes, it's as if they ran out of ideas for new movies. I haven't seen the Karate Kid yet but that seems to look like it would be interesting to see. I really wasn't too much into the first movie but now I have 4 boys who would probably like to see the movie.

I love remake of movies especially some old movies that you just can't imagine how nice it would be if it would be remake with better visual effects and in 3D version. Nice.
