I don't know when will this end.......... We all know that there is water crisis in Metro Manila but mind you, it's not only in Manila that there is no water...I am not residing right now in Manila, I am in the Visayas area now. But would you believe that there is no water here? We stock our big pails with water at 1:00 o'clock in the morning and that is quite an agony. It is raining in our place most of the time but still there's no water........ Haayyyyyyy, when will this suffering end?

I don't think that there is lack of water because comparing to here there is also rain water and there won't be problems with water.Your water level is increasing rapidly because there is raining, don't worry.

That's exactly the irony.. It is raining yet there is no water in our faucets. I don't understand why all these are happening.

hi dorisday I am sorry to hear the Phillipines are short of water. We are okay in California but here we have been told to cut down on washing cars and watering lawns a nd gardens ever day. there are now some restrictions as when you can water lawns and gardens so as to conserve water. We have had a dry winter again and a dry s ummer too so water must be saved here.Hope you soon get back your water supply. good luck God bless.

That is a good news.... There are many Filipinos living in California and I know that they get frustrated when they come home to the Philippines with no water. Have a nice day Hatley.

Water is very important to our body and life as we live. I wish the government officials would look into the problem for the good of the people. It is their duty to look into the main needs and necessity of people in the community. Pray to the Lord that rain comes so that it can help washes clothes and bathing. you gather each other in the city and ask assistance to the proper authorities with this concern to be given action right away. I hope now it has already repaired and given an action so that you could enough water to use.

I actually washed some of my clothes yesterday using rain water. The rain water was a blessing for we were able to stock pails of water. Every drop of water counts.

If you have abundant water supply in China, the opposite is happening in some parts of the Philippines. I really don't understand this situation. When will our agony end?

when it rains, try collecting the rain in a bucket or something. That way you will not go without water, even in small amounts

Sad to know that my friend. I am residing in Manila now and lucky enough that our place do not suffer from water crisis. What we are experiencing now is having a sort of yellowish or not so clear water. Maynilad though made an explanation about the matter. Yes, almost everyday it's raining in here now and good enough that those who are suffering water crisis here in the Metro were no longer experiencing the same. I just hope the water crisis will be over in your place.

I think we're living same region but I was wondering what might be the reason why you don't have water in your place in spite of rainy days we experience these days. Let me guess, maybe you're living at the top of your house roof am i right? joke time.. Mobhomeior here..

Oh! Where you from? I'm also from Visayas. You're problem is really rampant here in our area. Mostly highly urbanized cities (HUC's) do suffer from these problems but what's frightening now is even small cities and towns do suffer the same problem. Maybe this is because of the global warming and the rapid change of our weather.

I am residing in Tagum City DAvao , I am thankful that we dont get typhoons like people in Luzon do , We had to suffer of the rotational brownout the entire summer, but we seldom get them nowadays. I am also thankful that we have a very good water supply. I am sorry to hear that the water shortage up there in Luzon hasnt been fixed. I wish that something would be done soon.

Wow I was suppose to say that it might be some kind of revenge from the MWSS because of all the controversies they are facing right now. but since you are not from metro manila, I really dont know why. i thought the problem has ended after all the rains from the pass weeks. I guess we just have to live with this. let's just train ourselves because there might be more sufferrings like this in the near future.

maybe there's a reason why there's no water in your area. Maybe if something went wrong in one of the connections of water pipes and repairs must have to be done. Better ask your local water supplier.

hi, hope you have enough supply of water soon. Its really very ironic, we generally have too much water but not distributed as required meaning when its dry, its very dry but when it rains, it pours. The sad thing is we all know about this a long, long time ago but our gov't hasn't done enough to remedy the situation. plans abound on what can be done but how many have actually been implemented. i'm sure some of those plans have some merits. but if the gov't does not take this very seriously, water crisis is inevitable so i hope they do something NOW. of course, we should do our share as well by being mindful of our use of water. SAVE WATER.

Water supply, for most part of Metro Manila, is already up and running. Wonder why you still have the same problem. But, yes, I agree with you, its quite an agony. Hope you'll get your water supply back soon.

I lived here in Manila for many years and i can say i am lucky to have been residing in a place where water is not a main problem even summer time. There were places here in Manila where water shortage always been a problem esp when it is summer. I wish the city government can do their best to resolve such problem since water is badly needed in every household. Now,hearing your place is also under the same situation,i guess it is really time for us to conserve water. Have a good weekend my friend

This is due to some corrupt official of the water company in the Philippines. They should have a bigger water dam that during heavy rainfall we can save more water from the rain. Instead of it causing flood in the country.

Hi... this problem is threatening us. Every body need to discuss on this issue. Why earth is getting dried up? No water, no life what shall we do? Till then Geographically it is proved that, water needs a plant and plant need a water, hope planting trees is the only solution to get rid off this suffering. So lets us join our hand and plant more trees to solve this problem. If not suffering wont end but goes on increasing till the proverbs "water, water every where but no a single drop to drink" turn to reality.
