Today I went through my friend list and I saw that I have accepted users who haven't made a single post here.I just checked the profiles and it became more mysterious - they came from nowhere, they have no interests.I understand these are someone's referrals, lost and forgotten.O mislead, because they keep sending friend requests as if they want to collect all Mylot members.Have you accepted the friend request of zero poster too?

Yes. At first i've accepted whoever send requests. But now i realize that they are just spammers. Dont know the reason, not receiving so many friends requests. Getting Only few. Hope its good for me. May be they're referrals of the person who tortured them to join ;). I can say even i joined here only because i heard we get paid for our posts. But day by day getting interest in participating the discussions, and getting useful informations too. Hope Nil post persons also will get interest if they search this site.

They even torture people to make some referrals? This way I can understand those who are just brought here and left alone without any explanation. You will enjoy your stay here because it's not only about money, this is what makes this site attractive.

Only if they look brand new, then I give them about 60 days to post before the delete button catches up with them.

Maybe they are those who registers several accounts then stop after realizing that having many accounts doesn't matter here in myLot.

Hello Silvercoin. I accepted every friend request when I joined last week but I was flooded with spam messages so I deleted the worst offenders. When someone requests now I keep them "on hold" for a while and if their post count rises I accept them. I have five pending who haven't posted anything since they requested me a few days ago.

I wouldn't accept a request from someone with no posts what's the point? Their first login may be their last. I don't mind accepting from new members with at least a couple of posts though. I think you may have been hacked and the hacker added friendships :o Just kidding I don't know. Sometimes I don't check how many posts they have made SOMETIMES so I'm going to have a look now!

I guess they do not understand how to discuss here because it is all written in English, a few moments ago I took someone and they said to me "how do I work in mylot" and I told them we must follow the rules and read the manual first before doing writing and use the English language in order if people read it they'll selective to response the discussions.

It's hard to help someone who's unable to read in this language.Maybe one day they will learn a bit of English and then they'll be able to join the forum fully.

i don't really look at there profiles. i guess I should start paying more attention. I don't know what there problem is. You can't earn if you don't post responses. I guess it's just there thing. eiter that or they signed up and forgot they signed up.

Within 10 minutes of me adding a new friend this morning I had spam, so yes I agree these stupid 0 posts members are just spammers, this makes friend #4 for me that has pulled this crap. I think from now on only members with 100 or better will be added to my friends list.

I believe it just may work, since we know most with 0 posts will be spamming us big time. I gave the one yesterday a piece of my mind, and told them rather then spamming the crap out of all of us, just post links on there profile page, I pray it works.

I accept all friend requests, but so far, none of these silent types have ever bothered me yet. Besides, there is practically no reason for me to be paranoid here. If they spam my inbox, it is always within my power to ignore or report them. Anyway, if there are security holes in myLot that we should know about, it should be posted in the FAQ page so we can at least be warned. So, for now, I think these friend requests are just harmless.

Harmless, but very annoying.

haha I should say "I agree with you" they're kind of fbi agents collecting mylot members and sending you unlimited friend request once you denied their first friend request. I also accepted some users that are 0 post and no activity at all,but now I dont accept them anymore coz once I accepted them all they do is send me tons of their referral links and spam the hell out of my butt. I mean, looking for referrals is not bad but if you are sending and sending non stop to some users then I would say maybe they need to be gone out of my friends list

Everyone needs referrals, but there are more delicate "techniques" than spamming poor lotters.Like Akopoaysi said, they can use traffic exchanges which will rotate their links 24/7.

Maybe they're just to lazy enough and just want to send those spams out to their friends. I also need referrals but I don't do those kind of stuff sending message to my friends with tons of my referral links

Yes, I received invitation from someone, I don't know and I accept it. Not knowing he will offer some sites I should join. As a matter of fact I already have sites I joined before I became a mylot user. LOL. A while ago I just deleted his personal message to me.

Instead of putting banners on their profile, they spam friendly users who accepted their request.

Correct, indeed. As what I said before I thought she want to make friends. But not knowing she will send only a friendly invitation to join her downline.

they're from your employer, checking to see if you're badmouthing your boss Seriously, I have stopped accepting requests from people with zero posts. I leave them for a few days, and if they post, I accept them, if not, I reject them.

Yes, you just wonder about these people sometimes. Of course, they could have legitmate reasons. Maybe they want to get a feel for the website before they take the plunge. That can be understandable but I do wonder exactly what their criteria is for sending out friend requests. That can raise an eyebrow or two on my part. It is really interesting. Of course, there are people who sign up everyday, are active for a day but really do not do anything. Again, I just wonder why they would send friend requests to certain people. It really is interesting all things considered. I am sure I accepted a friend request or two from those people who have zero posts when I am in "accept everyone" mode, but there is nothing that hits me off hand.

You are a good prophet! I just received a friend request from a guy with 0 posts accurately when I opened your discussion! I think FBI agents will be more technical, 0-posters are only spammers. They register here only for their referral links.
