Sachin,Gambhir and Harbhajan rested for tri-series.Do you Agree with selectors??

hello, The selectors have selected a good squad for tri-series.Indian team looks strong with the experienced bowlers and intelligent batsmen.They should work on the areas where they are weak.Dhoni should give chance to every players in the squad.This selection is very good.I think the rest is needed for Harbhajan as he is out of form.But Sachin can perform in the ODI match.He plays like young guy even he is a senior .I don't understand why the selectors rested Sachin.In fact,i think Rahul dravid should be given a chance.There are some addition of few quality bowlers which is good for the Indian team.I hope India lift the tri-series.I rate this selection as excellent.

first of all look at your question Ramaswamy you mentioned in your first sentence sachin, gambhir and harbhajan have been rested for the tri series but your last sentence is quite contrary to that. kindly check it pls

I agree with Sachin, but not sure why Gambhir and Bhajji should be rested. I think it is more like Sachin has been rested and the other two have been dropped due to poor form. I am happy that finally they are continuing with Ashwin as I think he can be a wicket taking bowler that we need in the spin bowling department. Cheers! Ram

Well my dear friend, I am not happy with the selection of bowlers. Ishant Sharma is big failure and too much is expected from Abhimanyu Mithun. Tyagi and Balaji must have been selected. In this team an genuine off spinner is missing. I am not happy with selection of Yuvaraj Singh. He must be put out of the team for another month until he proves his fitness is good and he scored good runs in the domestic competitions. Tiwary can take place of Yuvaraj Singh for hitting in the middle overs. Finally can R Ashwin can be as lethal as Anil Kumble. Sri Lankans will comfortable play Ashwin in my view.What ever Bhajji and Gambhir do need rest and give them chance to get 100% fit. Sachin taking rest is something which I did not get it because India need a good player who can partner with Sehwag in the top. Now again Dhoni will have to experiment with Dinesh Karthik, someone which will be failing that is for sure.

On behalf of these players rested if we are getting new quality players we can welcome this descision,but no doubt no one can replace sachin.

Well i dont agree with this selection much,first thing Dinda didnt do too bad and he is a upcoming bowler , just because he had one bad game in Asia cup(only one in which he played) all his efforts of bowling well in domestic games in Zimbabwe , are of no use, now he is out and another new bowler Mitun is in , who has a similar history of being in side and then dropped after playing a game.Instead of giving many players a chance why dont they back up a player and give him confidence rather than doing all this.I am sure that Mithun will only get a single game or so and will be replaced by another new upcoming bowler next time.Jason Gillespie was backed up by Australian selectors even of he proved expensive and was short of wickets in start of his career , but he was backed and what a good bowler he turned out to be.i dont think this way India bowling attack will be good ever.About Gambhir he must be having some fitness problem ,otherwise there is no reason to keep him out.Tendulkar as we know is playing safe due to injury concerns and selectors ave him for important matches,Bhajji will get a chance to go back take rest and come back strongly.His form is really a worry.Rest selection is ok though , good that Virat Kohli and Rohit sharma are in , they are future of India cricket also good to see yuvraj back, he being important part of one day team.
