For Single Moms out there: How's life as a single mom?

I've been a single mom for almost 5 years now. I'd say it's a very fulfilling life. It's hard...yes but when you see your kids happy and healthy, it makes it better somehow. But there's always that feeling that you want to be with someone who will help you and take care of you too. It's lonely being alone right especially if you experienced being with someone before, right? How do you cope with the loneliness? How do you raise your kid/s?

I have been in the same relationship for 13 years, and have no children. The only thing that I can add is that when I was single I always had plenty to do, so it was rare for me to feel lonely.
