Slow and steady income is safest. Don't pay for anything upfront, and stay away from get rich quick offers. Try a number of things and be organized (I mean keep track of your activities and get rid of the less profitable ones after you tried them for a month or so).

Earning online is not difficult but you need to be careful in choosing the sites you want to make money with. Mylot is one of them here the money making process is very slow but you can enjoy staying here. You will find some proven money making sites mentioned in my profile page so just have a look in my profile page.

Genuine online earning opportunities tend to be slow and steady. There are a lot of scams that promise big money fast, my advice there is to avoid them like the plague.
Like I say, slow and steady is the way to go. Even if you're only earning a few quid a month, if you save the money up you'll eventually have enough to start thinking about investing.
I've tried a few different ways of making money online. The best website I know (apart from MyLot) is Swagbucks - it pays you for doing your routine internet searches, as well as a few other things like filling in surveys and completing offers (some of which are free). There's a referral banner on my profile if you want to have a look at it.
Online surveys are also a good way to make a bit of money now and again - I use Lightspeed and Pinecone, but there are others.
Before signing up to any money making website, it's best to do an internet search first and see what other people are saying about it. And never sign up for anything that expects you to pay them in advance.

I think how much you earn depends on how much effort you put into it. you have to remember it's quality before quantity although quantity also helps. Make your posts as clear and informative as you feel it needs to be. The better the quality the more you'll earn per post. I post quit a bit around 20-50 a day. I think that's not much compared to some other people who do 100+ posts a day. Depending on how fun you are finding all this you decide how much you'll spend here. Unless you have some talent you can't make a lot online easily. I think myLot is one of the best paying sites I use and I only joined last week and hope to make around 5 to 10 dollars a month. It's not much but it helps to pay for a few things in your life. If you're wanting to get rich from the internet forget it unless you have your own ideas.
